Job Description

As an offshore member of the US brand team, the Product Manager will partner closely with brand and cross functional team members to enable effective execution of commercial brand plans. Operate as the on-the-ground product collaborator in Amgen India (AIN) who coordinates delivery, surfaces actionable insights and ensures outputs meet brand priorities, quality and compliance standards, with a strong focus on omnichannel campaign execution and optimization across digital and CRM touchpoints.
Key responsibilities
Work side-by-side with onshore brand leads to convert U.S. brand plans into clear, executable deliverables.
Coordinate end-to-end campaign and program delivery with AIN pods, commercial stakeholders and vendors to ensure on-time, on-brand and compliant execution.
Surface and translate analytics and insight outputs (dashboards, segmentation, campaign performance) into practical recommendations that inform brand decisions.
Promote adoption of automation and standardized approaches (modular content, metadata/tagging, templating) to simplify operations and increase reuse.
Champion the use of AI‑enabled content and productivity tools within the team to accelerate self‑service content creation, repurpose existing approved materials, and drive repeatable, scalable execution models across omnichannel campaigns.
Manage vendor and partner coordination for routine execution; escalate and resolve delivery or quality issues in partnership with brand and AIN teams.
Track and report core operational metrics (on-time delivery, error/rework, asset reuse, AIN execution independence) and use them to drive incremental improvements.
Ensure smooth handoffs, knowledge transfer and a clear RACI between AIN delivery and onshore brand teams; partner with compliance to meet MLR requirements.
[Omnichannel execution]
Coordinate creative asset development and submission workflows, including MAC or MLR readiness, to enable timely deployment across channels.
Support execution of HCP omnichannel campaigns across channels such as CRM, email, web, paid digital and point-of-care by coordinating assets, timelines and dependencies.
Translate high-level omnichannel strategies into clear execution briefs for AIN delivery teams, including channel sequencing, content readiness and deployment timing.
Support campaign performance tracking and optimization by consolidating engagement metrics and helping identify opportunities for test and learn improvements.
Partner with Marketing Operations, analytics teams and external agencies to ensure integrated and compliant campaign execution.
Required qualifications
BS/BTech (CS/IT), MBA Marketing from reputed institutes.
12+ years of overall experience in omnichannel marketing execution or campaign operations in a regulated environment.

Demonstrated experience partnering with brand teams to execute marketing plans and coordinate multi-stakeholder programs.
Strong stakeholder communication, project coordination and vendor management skills.
Comfortable working with centralized/offshore delivery teams and practical familiarity with marketing platforms and analytics tools.
Demonstrated interest in adopting emerging AI‑enabled productivity or content tools to improve speed, reuse, and self‑service execution within marketing teams.
Preferred
Pharmaceutical or healthcare commercial marketing experience; familiarity with MLR/compliance. Experience with marketing activities for US brands.
Experience supporting omnichannel or digital campaigns including CRM, email or web-based programs.

Similar opportunities
The closest matches from our peer group, ranked by how similar they are, not how well you'd qualify for them -- treat this as market context, not a guaranteed shortlist; a weak match is labeled as one below.
How we calculate "similar"
No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.
Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.
0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
