Facilitates the development of commercial insights and analytics for in-market and pipeline brand products including core marketing strategies, product positioning, pricing, HCP and patient insights, and competitive insights.

Independently design, code, and execute advanced analytics using SQL and Python/R.

Own ingestion, validation, and analysis of 3rd-party healthcare datasets (IQVIA, Symphony, Veeva Compass, medical/pharmacy claims).

Conduct longitudinal patient analytics including cohort design, adherence/persistence, switching, line of therapy, and journey analysis.

Perform market sizing, opportunity identification, competitive analytics, and launch performance tracking

Develop and maintain automated or semi-automated analytical workflows.

Build and maintain PowerBI dashboards that enable brand teams to monitor performance and uncover opportunities.

Translate analyses into clear, insight-driven PowerPoint presentations for commercial stakeholders.

Provide oversight and quality control for offshore analytical support resources, as applicable.

Demonstrated expertise in designing, managing, and leveraging enterprise Data Lakes to support advanced analytics, commercial insights, and data visualization. The candidate should have hands-on experience with ingestion, curation, and governance of large, heterogeneous datasets across commercial and operational domains.

Provides analytical solutions in support of performance measurement, market sizing and analytics, customer analytics, customer journey, customer segmentation and targeting, development, HCP & Patient opportunity identification, return-on-investment analytics and optimal resource/budget allocation across diverse sales and marketing channels, prospective analytics, test & lean experiments, as needed. This role works closely with Marketing, Sales, Medical, Market Access and other Commercial Operations business partners.

Leads the management of analytic projects to assess impact of various tactics to generate actionable commercial recommendations.

Proactively seeks out and evaluates new data sources, tools, and analytics partners that can enhance customer insights and ability to improve overall effectiveness of brand plans. Seeks out new techniques for generating and leveraging customer insights.

This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to our business.  He/she will be part of team to support business through their proactive thought leadership, innovative analytical capabilities and their ability to communicate highly complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and with a specialization in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, Management Science, Economics, or Engineering preferred. A master’s degree (or equivalent) is preferred. 3+ years in Pharmaceutical / Biotech / Healthcare analytics or secondary data analysis, 5+ years in application of advanced methods and statistical procedures on large and disparate dataset, and 7+ years in Insight-driven qualitative and quantitative market analytics project scoping and management is preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.  Pharmaceutical experience required.

Known subject matter expert for quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. Extensive experience in the design and management of secondary data analytics. Advanced knowledge about study design and able to assess and direct vendor technical capabilities and manage risks in the analytic process. Recognized expertise on connecting, integrating and synthesizing analysis and data into a meaningful ‘so what’ to drive concrete strategic recommendations and enable commercial decision making. Identifies, prioritizes and describes relevant caveats in data/model and how they relate to business question and broader strategic business priorities.

Must possess hands-on experience with syndicated national, subnational and patient longitudinal data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Veeva). Experience in MS Office products - Excel and PowerPoint skills. . Recent experience and proficiency with Python, R, SQL and big data technology Strong understanding of Data Lake architecture with ability to expose Data Lake assets for downstream analytics. Working knowledge of data visualization in PowerBI. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a significant number of business leaders and cross-functional business partners. Strong communication and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to develop and effectively present succinct, compelling reviews of independently developed analyses infused with insight and business implications/actions to be considered. Strong organizational skills and time management; ability to manage diverse range of simultaneous projects.

Provides direction to other (external support) with the potential of providing direction to internal colleagues.

Ability to solve equations, apply technical mathematical concepts, and perform complex computations.

Ability to solve problems with complex variables through non-standardized solutions that require independent judgment and analysis.  Ability to draw inferences and use deductive reasoning with no prescribed procedures to solve complex problems.

Sedentary.  Minimal handling of light materials and tools, lifting up to 10 lbs. May involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Periodic travel is required (less than 10%).

Normal office situation. Remote work.

Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.

Exact compensation may vary based on items such as skills, experience and location. The salary range for this position is: $95,000 - $193,000.
