In short: BioPharma Careers doesn't require an account, doesn't ask you to submit a resume or application through this site, and doesn't sell personal data. The job listings you see are aggregated from employers' own public career pages. When you click "Apply," you're taken to the employer's own site to complete your application there, under their privacy policy, not ours.
What we collect
Browsing and searching this site does not require creating an account, and job listings never ask you to submit anything through us – applications go directly to the employer. The data we do handle falls into four categories:
- Standard server logs. Like virtually any website, our hosting infrastructure automatically logs basic technical data for every request – IP address, browser/device type, page requested, and timestamp. This is used only for security (e.g. spotting abusive traffic) and keeping the site running, and isn't linked to any profile of you.
- Local theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so it's remembered on your next visit. This never leaves your device and contains no personal information.
- Employer contact form. Our For Employers page lets a company tell us what they're looking for (name, email, company, and your message). We use it only to follow up with you and don't share it with anyone else.
- Analytics, with your consent. We use Google Analytics and session-replay tooling to understand aggregate site usage – which pages are popular, how people find us. Neither runs until you accept it in the cookie banner (or the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer) – see "Cookies" below.
Where the job listings come from
Every job shown on this site is sourced from a public career page published directly by the hiring employer. We link back to the original posting, and the "Apply" button sends you to the employer's own application system. We are not the employer, we don't process job applications ourselves, and we don't receive or store anything you submit on an employer's site.
Third-party links
Clicking through to an employer's career site (or any other outbound link on this site) takes you off BioPharma Careers entirely. Once there, that site's own privacy policy and terms apply – we have no visibility into, or control over, how they handle your data.
Cookies
When you first visit, a banner asks you to choose between three categories. Nothing in Analytics loads until you say yes:
- Necessary. Keeps the site working (e.g. admin login sessions) and remembers your cookie choice itself. Always on – there's no opt-out, since the site can't function without it.
- Analytics. Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) and LogRocket, a session-replay tool. Both are blocked from loading at all until you accept this category, and Google Analytics respects Google's Consent Mode even after that.
- Marketing. Not currently used on this site – the category exists in the banner in case that changes, but nothing is wired to it today.

Children's privacy
This site is a professional job board intended for working adults and job seekers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
