Why KOL/ HCP/ Patients Need You
Field-based medical colleagues provide therapeutic area /product expertise to health care providers. You will think big and demonstrate every day that we're a patient-centric company by looking to improve health outcomes for patients.
What You Will Achieve
Maximize the value of Pfizer products to Chinese patients and health care professional through medical activities in assigned territory. Implement medical/research/disease management programs; introduce new concept through medical education to help doctors to improve patients’ outcome; conduct medical to medical communication to transport product knowledge and therapeutic update to key influencers and stakeholders; and provide professional medical training to commercial teams.
How You Will Achieve It
Lead medical to medical communication
Lead and develop regional level medical strategy in the designed therapeutic area
KOL mapping in responsible region and conduct regular medical communication face to face and virtually.
Organize regional level medical to medical meeting and activities with KOLs to deliver cutting edge medical information of defined therapeutic area and assigned products
Conduct medical educational meeting to introduce new concept to help doctors to improve patients’ outcome and advance their research capability
Speak at medical communication meeting at national and regional level.
Provide timely feedback of KOL’s comments and insights to supervisors and relevant medical advisors
Respond medical inquiries as needed.
Establish good academic relationship with regional academic origination at defined therapeutic area.
Cooperate and align with medical advisors to engage KOLs
Medical input to product medical and brand plan
Collect, analyze, and report timely local customer medical insights to input on product strategy and message development
Work with (Senior) medical advisor and local marketing manager proactively to assist product strategy implementation
Implementation clinical research
Support Pfizer sponsored Non interventional study at regional level.
Support Non-Pfizer sponsored investigator-initiated product-related clinical research at regional level.
Discuss research concept with interested researcher, and communicated the nature and requirement of Pfizer’s ISR based on ISR strategies
Facilitate submission of investigator initiated pre-clinical and clinical proposals, and act as a Liaison between Pfizer and ISR researcher; and follow up ISR on its progress according to timeline
Implementation medical program and activities
Develop KOL engagement related conference or program plan based on regional level medical strategy
Implement conference or program according to timeline and with good quality.
Improve sale team medical ability through medical training, literature delivery and medical knowledge
Organize face to face meeting or online meeting to cascade medical information to improve sale team’s medical ability
Provide customized response for common medical queries in the field for assigned products.
Present at POA and regional sales meetings for medical information
Collaborate with SMEs to jointly boost customer experience and satisfaction by enhanced scientific exchange, broader market coverage, faster responses
Collaborate with commercial account SME, for medical solutions to HCP, via the internal strategic alignment
Provide RWE related consultation and cooperation to HCP, with Medical RWE expert’s support
Set up and facilitate Pre-launch medical work in the field, with Medical Pre-launch team’s guidance
Facilitate the related work to ensure Patient centricity, with Medical Patient Engagement’s guidance
Ensure company’s medical compliance
Implement medical programs and activities within medical compliance
Communicate medical information with compliance
Ensure timely SOP learning, and daily practice compliant with SOPs.
Ensure collaboration with commercial colleagues within medical compliance
Qualifications
Must-Have
Technical
Therapeutic area knowledge: background with the disease knowledge and clinical practice of the therapeutic area
Language: Proficiency in oral and written English
Software: Good at Microsoft Office software

Education
Medical or Biopharmaceutical related Background, Public health related background for vaccine, Master Degree or above, Ph D or MD in the defined therapeutic area is preferred.

About 2 years clinical practice or medical affairs experience in other multinational pharmaceutical companies
Good medical knowledge in the defined therapeutic area
Good understanding about pharmaceutical business
