ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Description
This role requires hands-on experience in Salesforce platform development and deployment, including Salesforce Communities and Copado DevOps tools. The candidate will be the go-to technical resource responsible for supporting production and non-production environments, ensuring code quality and platform compliance, and driving continuous improvements in the digital technology ecosystem.
Must-Have Skills
Provide day-to-day support for production and non-production Salesforce environments within the Global Supply Chain – Customer Experience domain under guidance from senior team members.
Hands-on experience with the Salesforce Lightning Platform (Aura and/or LWC) and understanding of core Salesforce configuration capabilities.
Experience with MuleSoft, including supporting upgrades, monitoring APIs and integrations, reviewing logs, and troubleshooting connectivity or data flow issues between Salesforce and external systems.
Support integrations between Salesforce and external platforms (e.g., AWS, MuleSoft, third-party services) by monitoring jobs, performing initial issue triage, and escalating complex defects as needed.
Assist in developing and maintaining configured solutions, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components within Service Cloud and Commerce Cloud.
Participate in proof-of-concept activities and support exploration of emerging capabilities, including AI/ML use cases, under supervision.
Resolve routine support tickets and defects, ensuring timely updates and communication with stakeholders.
Follow established coding standards and participate in peer reviews to maintain security, performance, and compliance standards, including adherence to VeraCode requirements.
Work with cybersecurity and compliance teams to address identified vulnerabilities and support required governance processes.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Sprint Planning, stand-ups) and provide updates on assigned tasks.
Follow established best practices to ensure maintainability and scalability of solutions.
Operate in a regulated environment and comply with all required policies, documentation, and audit standards.
Basic Qualifications
Master’s degree with 1 - 3 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT or related field OR
Bachelor’s degree with 3 - 5 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT or related field OR
Diploma with 5 - 8 years of experience in Business, Engineering, IT or related field
Professional Certifications:
Salesforce Platform Developer I (required).
Salesforce Platform Developer II (preferred).
Salesforce Administrator or App Builder Certification (preferred).
SAFe Agile Certification (preferred).
Soft Skills:
Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and distributed teams.
Demonstrates willingness to learn and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot routine issues.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in team ceremonies.
Ability to work constructively with QA, compliance, validation, and security teams.
Capable of managing assigned tasks and prioritizing work with guidance from senior team members.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
Open to feedback and continuous learning to enhance technical and professional skills.
Adaptable and receptive to working in an evolving technical environment.
