Senior Operator / Delegate Line Lead (Multiple Roles)
At Amgen Breda, medicines are assembled, labeled, packed, stored, and shipped to countries around the world. Every day, more than 1,000 colleagues from over 40 nationalities contribute to supply chain operations, manufacturing, marketing and sales of our medicines, and clinical research into new therapies.

What you will do
As a Senior Operator & Delegate Line Lead at Amgen Breda, you support the operational leadership of a production line within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. In the absence of the Line Lead, you act as the first operational escalation point on the shop floor, ensuring stable production execution, effective team coordination, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
In this role, you will:
Execute production activities according to SOPs and GMP standards
Act as first point of escalation during operational disturbances
Support troubleshooting activities and escalation management
Participate in triage and cross-functional problem-solving activities
Support daily operational leadership on the production line and coordinate operational activities during delegated leadership periods
Support achievement of production targets, quality objectives, and line performance
Support workload coordination, task prioritization, and team communication
Support onboarding, coaching, and guidance of operators on the line
Contribute to Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of all production activities

What we expect from you
You combine operational expertise with leadership capability and a strong quality mindset.
MBO+ or equivalent technical education
Minimum 7 years of experience in highly regulated automated production environments
Proven operational leadership experience, coordinating or guiding operators on the shopfloor
Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to maintain overview during operational disturbances
Familiarity with SAP/MES systems and Continuous Improvement methodologies (Lean / Six Sigma)
Strong ownership, accountability, and structured way of working
Willingness to work in shifts
