This role reports to the Business Enablement Lead and serves as a commercial enablement leader responsible for end‑to‑end ownership of proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs), enterprise Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud strategy, sprint‑based digital delivery, and AI enablement across commercial operations as well as occasional AI support of the ES community. The role also holds accountability for digital budget planning and management across PC1’s commercial technology portfolio, and serves as Digital Project Lead for cross-functional initiatives, ensuring disciplined delivery, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes.

The role will help in setting strategy, defining standards, and driving scalable solutions that enable PC1’s growth. This position acts as an accountable owner for commercial content, systems, and AI‑enabled capabilities that support business development, customer engagement, and operational efficiency globally.

What You Will Achieve

Enterprise Proposal & SOW Strategy

Own the global proposal and SOW operating model for PC1, including standards, templates, governance, and continuous improvement.

Develop Technology Transfer (TT) and Commercial Statements of Work

Provide strategic oversight of complex, high‑value proposals, contract extensions, and new customer engagements.

Establish scalable proposal processes that balance speed, quality, compliance, and customization.

Drive measurable improvements in proposal cycle time, win quality, and reuse of approved content.

Collaborate with Marketing to ensure proposal messaging, value propositions, and visual assets are aligned with broader PC1 brand and go‑to‑market strategy .

 Salesforce & Salesforce Marketing Cloud – Enterprise Ownership

Act as enterprise business owner for Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud for PC1.

Define the commercial CRM and marketing technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives and Pfizer digital standards.

Own platform governance, including data quality, usage standards, reporting, and commercial analytics.

Set the roadmap for Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities supporting customer engagement, campaign execution, and insight generation.

Enable alignment between Salesforce, Marketing Cloud campaigns, and proposal activities to support integrated customer journeys and consistent messaging.

Own and manage the annual digital budget for PC1’s commercial technology portfolio, including Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and associated digital platforms. Develop budget forecasts, track spend against plan, and partner with Finance to ensure accurate accruals, purchase orders, and vendor invoicing. Identify opportunities to optimize spend and reinvest in highest-value capabilities.

Salesforce Product Ownership & Sprint Leadership

Serve as Product Owner for Salesforce‑related initiatives, with full accountability for backlog prioritization, roadmap definition, and value delivery.

Translate business strategy into epics, features, and user stories that drive measurable commercial outcomes.

Lead sprint planning, prioritization, and release readiness in partnership with IT, Digital, and external delivery teams.

Ensure sprint outputs are aligned to enterprise architecture, security, and compliance requirements.

Balance near‑term commercial demands with long‑term platform scalability and sustainability.

Incorporate marketing‑related requirements into sprint planning to support campaign execution, content management, and customer engagement use cases.

Maintain budget visibility across sprint-related delivery costs, including vendor contracts, IT delivery resources, and third-party tooling. Ensure digital investment decisions are aligned to roadmap priorities and tracked against approved budgets throughout the fiscal year.

AI Enablement & Commercial Innovation

Own the AI enablement strategy for proposals, commercial operations, and business development workflows for PC1.

Identify and prioritize AI use cases that improve speed, quality, insight generation, and scalability (e.g., proposal drafting, content reuse, decision support).

Partner with Digital, Legal, Compliance, and IT to ensure responsible, secure, and compliant AI adoption.

Establish success metrics and governance for AI tools, ensuring sustained value realization.

Act as the advisor on AI capabilities and limitations to commercial leadership.

Explore AI‑enabled opportunities to support marketing content development, personalization, and campaign effectiveness, in alignment with enterprise governance.

Drive AI literacy and adoption initiatives across PC1 and External Supply, collaborating with teams to identify practical applications, accelerate capability building, and realize business value through responsible AI use.

 Digital Budget Ownership & Digital Project Lead

Own the annual digital budget ($500K) for PC1’s commercial technology portfolio, including planning, forecasting, tracking, and variance reporting. Partner with Finance and Digital to align spend to roadmap priorities, manage purchase orders and vendor contracts, and ensure all digital investments remain within approved budgets throughout the fiscal year.

Serve as Digital Project Lead for key commercial and cross-functional digital initiatives, owning end-to-end project governance including scope, timeline, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and delivery reporting. Coordinate across IT, Digital, Legal, Compliance, and business teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable impact.

Maintain a consolidated view of active digital projects and priorities, enabling informed decision-making by commercial and digital leadership. Surface trade-offs, interdependencies, and resource constraints proactively to ensure the digital portfolio advances PC1’s strategic growth agenda.

Marketing Support, Leadership, Influence & Enablement

Develop and optimize lead generation journeys aligned to the campaign calendar, including content mapping and channel strategy.

Collaborate with marketing and commercial stakeholders to align campaign messaging, content strategies, and customer facing assets with business development priorities, customer engagement objectives, and market growth initiatives.

Define, track, and analyze key marketing metrics (e.g., engagement, conversion, lead quality) across SFMC and Salesforce to measure campaign effectiveness and inform optimization.

Enhance & refine commercial enablement resources, tools, and materials that support business development effectiveness, customer engagement activities, and commercial growth objectives.

Lead or contribute to cross-functional commercial and marketing initiatives, coordinating stakeholders, priorities, and deliverables to support evolving business and customer needs.

Contribute expertise and commercial operations insights focused on advancing customer engagement capabilities to shape the future of PC1 commercial operations.

Provide project‑based leadership for cross‑functional marketing initiatives, ensuring clear ownership, timelines, and alignment with commercial priorities.

Contract, Order & Financial Operations

Create Sales Orders against purchase orders (POs) raised by the customer.

Invoice customers against Sales Orders as milestones are met and confirmed by the Site and PMO Lead.

Maintain forecast accuracy by updating the Invoice Schedule in SAP and the Financial Invoice Tracker.

Manage the PC1 Contract Repository, ensuring all files are complete, current, and accessible.

Administer access control, frequently confirm appropriate access for members across business‑critical systems (SharePoint sites, Teams channels, distribution lists, etc.).

Ensure financial and contractual operations remain compliant, auditable, and aligned to enterprise standards.

Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 5 years of experience; OR a PhD with 1+ years of experience

Experience owning Salesforce or similar enterprise CRM platforms as a business or product owner.

Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or comparable marketing automation platforms.

Strong background in agile or product‑led delivery models.

Demonstrated leadership in digital transformation or AI‑enabled initiatives.

Experience in pharmaceutical, CDMO, or life sciences environments.

Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder influence skills.

You have a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, where you have honed your analytical skills and developed a deep understanding of proposal development and SOW analysis.

Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives with enterprise impact.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $124,400.00 to $207,400.00.* In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
