What you will do
In this vital role you will lead the Clinical Trial Supplier Enablement (CTSE) Product Team, defining the product strategy, roadmap, and operating model for technology capabilities that enable external suppliers to support Amgen’s global clinical trials.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team and partner across Global Development Operations (GDO), Enterprise Technology, Information Security, Digital Workplace, and external supplier organizations to deliver secure, compliant, scalable, and user-focused solutions supporting Functional Service Providers (FSP), Fully Outsourced Studies, and Supplier Management.
Own the CTSE product vision, strategy, roadmap, investment priorities, and overall product success.
Lead delivery and continuous improvement of technology capabilities supporting FSP, Fully Outsourced Studies, and Supplier Management.
Build trusted partnerships with business, technology, security, and supplier leaders to align priorities and drive business outcomes.
Lead and develop the product team, fostering Agile delivery, innovation, automation, and operational excellence.
Ensure supplier-facing technologies meet information security, regulatory, compliance, and enterprise architecture requirements.
Drive secure collaboration, B2B connectivity, digital workspace, and supplier identity capabilities across the supplier ecosystem.
Lead technology transformation and change initiatives impacting global supplier populations.
Establish and monitor product KPIs covering adoption, supplier experience, service quality, operational performance, and business value.
Manage technology risks, operational issues, dependencies, and executive escalations across supplier-facing services.
Represent CTSE in strategic planning, portfolio governance, investment decisions, and leadership forums.
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to improve supplier productivity, security, scalability, and user experience.

Degree educated and relevant experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Information Systems, Digital Product Management, or a related field.
Strong understanding of clinical development, clinical trial technologies, and external supplier models, including CROs and specialty providers such as labs, imaging, and logistics.
Proven experience leading global technology products and Agile teams, defining product strategy and roadmaps, and delivering measurable business value.
Strategic, collaborative, customer-focused, accountable, and adaptable, with strong business acumen and the ability to balance value, risk, and technical constraints.
Strong people leadership, executive influencing, communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience balancing business needs with information security, regulatory, and third-party risk requirements; knowledge of cloud, integration, APIs, digital workplace, secure collaboration, and identity technologies.
Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives, technology budgets, vendors, operational performance, and competing priorities.
Strategic, collaborative, customer-focused, accountable, and adaptable, with strong business acumen and the ability to balance value, risk, and technical constraints.
Practical experience with SAFe or similar Agile frameworks; familiarity with Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, Power BI, DevOps, automation, AI-enabled tools, and product analytics is advantageous.
Experience with supplier onboarding, governance, third-party technology risk, and platforms such as Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Island Browser. SAFe POPM, CSPO, ITIL, or Business Analysis certifications are a plus.
