About the Job

Lead– Field Engagement Operations drives commercial excellence by optimizing customer engagement strategies and delivering best-in-class educational programming across Sanofi Brands and Indications. This role partners strategically with brand marketing, TLLs, and medical teams to design, execute, and continuously improve field-based educational programs including speaker events, Product Theaters, National Broadcasts, SEPs, and MEPs. The Lead applies experienced analytical and stakeholder engagement capabilities to maximize customer-facing activities impact, ensure compliance, and generate measurable business outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management & Strategic Insight

• Drive strong business partnerships with brand marketers, TLLs, medical, field sales, logistics vendors, compliance, and legal through regular Field Engagement Team interaction and meaningful insights

• Lead the business review presentation and dashboard process highlighting progress, trends, opportunities, risks, program volume, cost, and speaker/topic utilization

• Help guide brands toward goal attainment by analyzing data, identifying trends/risks/opportunities, and providing strategic recommendations

• Actively participate in/lead field champion calls, providing guidance and inquiry support

Cross-Functional Partnering

• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Veeva Events Support, Vendor, and Hub colleagues to address issues and ensure alignment

• Lead teams through transformation with resilience and accountability by role-modeling the right mindset and behaviors

Annual Bureau Set-up

• Drive annual speaker contract on-boarding and Veeva events go-live processes as assigned including Marketing Kick-off, budget planning, speaker nomination/contracting, content/invitations, field configuration, and training coordination

System Expertise

• Serve as subject matter expert for Commercial/Medical Events systems (Veeva/Salesforce.com, reporting platforms, nomination tools) and company policies

• Support project execution with timely responses to Veeva System counterparts and actively share knowledge with FEM teammates

• Demonstrate working knowledge of Power BI, Budget, and Events reporting; analyze reporting and explain details to stakeholders

Business Analytics & Performance Management

• Utilize business data analytics to understand program performance, identify trends, and generate insights for improved decision-making

• Run ad hoc reports to support business needs and stakeholder requests

• Support business review process and dashboards to ensure they meet business requirements and provide actionable insights

• Develop and maintain metrics/reporting environments leveraging Veeva, Jira4business, and Power BI

• Leverage AI tools, automation platforms, and digital technologies to enhance productivity and generate data-driven insights

• Translate analytical findings into clear, compelling presentations for brand and sales leadership

Process Development & Continuous Improvement

• Create and maintain process flows and guidance documents to ensure standardized operations and knowledge transfer

• Review support and training documentation as needed to ensure accuracy and relevance• Proactively identify inefficiencies, question existing processes, and implement solutions that optimize workflows and enhance performance

• Apply opportunity management discipline to prioritize activities and ensure resources are deployed against highest-value opportunities

• Ensure programs are executed in full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Education and Technical Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred

• 10+ years progressive experience in commercial/sales/marketing operations within pharmaceutical, biotech, or equivalent organization

• Demonstrated experience applying business data analytics to generate actionable insights from complex, multi-source data sets

• Operational Excellence, proven ability to deliver quality results consistently and maintain high standards

• Optimization, demonstrated track record of working smarter, improving processes, and driving efficiencies

• Scalable Delivery, experience growing processes and systems with increasing demand while maintaining quality

• Proven track record of sales force effectiveness support, promotional program design, or commercial operations

• Excellent stakeholder communications with ability to influence without authority at all organizational levels

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint presentations skills and excel, Salesforce.com/Veeva, and reporting platforms (Power BI, QlikSense)

• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical compliance requirements including Sunshine Act/transparency reporting

• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to train, coach, and develop others

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience supporting event management or speaker bureau programs in pharmaceutical/biotech organization

• Proficiency with Veeva Events Management, Jira4Business, and Power BI • Experience with AI-powered analytics tools, automation platforms, or digital innovation initiatives

• Demonstrated project management success including vendor relationships and cross-functional workstreams

• Certification in change management, process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma), or digital transformation
