The Position

Primary Purpose of Job (Job Summary) 主要工作目标(岗位简介)

As a core member of CPS&CSI, you will oversee the comprehensive management of the Roche China portfolio through prioritization, acceleration of Roche pipeline and bringing new pipeline, launch excellence, competitor intelligence, business development and late stage lifecycle management. The expected key outcomes are:

Define China short/mid/long-term strategic goals and outcomes to deliver the overarching vision

Develop the overall portfolio prioritization strategy for short, mid and long term

Initiate and prioritize corporate level strategic engagements and follow through to track outcome

Establish the framework and mechanism of an integrated pipeline planning process and launch roadmap

Responsible for BD transactions for all commercial opportunities in China for China.

Develop BD strategies to enhance our internal LifeCycle management activities, execute on business development needs for Roche including implementing new alternative commercial models

Manage key strategic alliances with importance for China

Provide the China perspective to Pharma Partnering for all deals

Be the focal point for Established products lifecycle Team to align strategies and implement as relevant for China

Strengthen the collaboration with the global relevant counterparts to ensure China's early and strong presence

Principle Roles & Responsibilities / Accountabilities 主要职责/责任

Take a lead to support and integrate the inputs from various partners to define China short/mid/long-term strategic goals and outcomes to deliver the overarching vision with solid data and sound business rationale.

Develop the overall portfolio prioritization strategy for short, mid and long term, playing a lead role in shaping the commercial development of Pharma China's future brands and significantly influencing management team and key stakeholders.

Acts as a trusted advisor to the business's leadership and relevant stakeholders, initiates and prioritizes corporate level strategic engagements and follows through to track outcome.

Establish the framework and mechanism of an integrated pipeline planning process and launch roadmap, and develop strategy, direction, and priorities to evolve the current Roche China portfolio, provide directions for internal as well as external assets sourcing focus.

Identifying and implementing high-priority pre-launch and launch initiatives, meet or beat launch timelines, quality standards and other performance metrics

Enable a high degree of cross-functional communication, inputs gathering and alignment, developing, sharing and driving best practices, scalable and sustainable processes, standards and tools to support excellence performing.

Responsible for BD transactions for all late state commercial opportunities

Qualification and Experience 能力与经验

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above, MBA or an advanced degree in Business Administration, Strategy, or Finance is strongly preferred.

More than 10  years of progressive experience within the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in portfolio strategy, corporate development, or pipeline management.

Proven track record of evaluating and executing late-stage commercial BD transactions, asset sourcing, and alliance management within China.

Proven capability to collaborate effectively with global counterparts, represent the China perspective, and advise executive leadership

Exceptional communication skills to lead cross-functional teams, align strategies across matrices, and manage key strategic alliances.

Demonstrated ability to empower team members, simplify complex priorities, and drive excellence in alignment with leadership expectations.
