The Position

The Diagnostics Value Lead (DV Lead) for Clinical Diagnostics Solutions must have a strong purpose to enable and empower the team to deliver better outcomes under the motto: “To Improve lives by Pioneering Diagnostics and Shaping Effective Healthcare in Taiwan.” As the Lead, you will think and act entrepreneurially, taking a whole-system perspective. You will translate strategic thinking into rigorous and thoroughly developed business and marketing strategies specific to the Clinical Diagnostics portfolio, ensuring that your team thrives in both the near and long term.

The Clinical Diagnostics Solutions portfolio includes Liver disease portfolio, navify AlgoSuite, Neurology & Infectious Diseases, Cardiac & Critical Care, Women’s Health & Health Check, Precision Oncology (Foundation Medicine, Avenio portfolio, navify Clinical Hub, Axelios1) and Clinical Research. These portfolios include instruments, assays and associated digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive, execute and monitor Marketing plans, strategies and tactics across the Clinical Diagnostics Solutions portfolio.

Ensure strategies deliver medical value to healthcare systems, clinicians and patients, enabling optimal disease management to achieve better patient outcomes.

Create synergy and collaborate closely with other commercial teams within RDTW, external partners, Roche Pharma Taiwan, APAC, and global teams.

Role model VACC leadership (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, Coach) and work closely with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally.

Manage and mentor your team members to build a high-performing, customer- and patient-focused team that exemplify an agile, creative, and learning organization.

Lead and drive change and improvements in the Taiwan healthcare ecosystem, embodying the Roche motto: "Doing now what patients need next."

Role Scope:

Actively lead and safeguard new ways of working and culture by being an ambassador and role model.

Lead marketing and clinical engagement strategies to drive and expand the adoption of the Clinical Diagnostics Solutions portfolio. This includes maintaining a high level of market intelligence and maintaining a close liaison with key opinion leaders in the industry.

Work closely with Customer Success Team (sales) to ensure sales and marketing alignment and successful execution of marketing plans.

Enterprise thinking mindset, showing ability to integrate and draw connections across individual product portfolios e.g. systems and assays, functions and projects

Ensure effective product lifecycle management through coordination of all commercial activities for existing and new solutions/products, management of customer and sales data, coordinate with Quality & Regulatory Affairs, manage stock allocation with Supply Chain and implementation of local and international marketing strategies.

Contribute significantly to the achievement of financial targets (sales and adoption).

Build strong internal and external relationships, developing partnerships and synergies to bring meaningful insights that catalyze strategy and product/service delivery.

Take ownership of customer engagement by coordinating and planning appropriate resources to improve customer satisfaction. This includes creating and managing marketing budgets, to ensure efficient allocation of resources.

Act as a visionary, connecting the Roche vision to functions, teams, squads, and individuals.

Encourage smart-risk taking, prioritization, experimentation, and resource fluidity to remove silos and roadblocks.

Develop a future-ready marketing team by fostering functional expertise and future-oriented capabilities.

Qualifications:

Good compliance track record with no material compliance violations in the past five years.

Strong experience in sales and marketing activities of clinical diagnostics product lines.

Proven track record of creating value with and for customers, shaping the market and customers’ needs, and establishing interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinical experts, and technicians.

Keen business sense and understanding of customer needs, with confidence to interact with all management levels.

Demonstrated leadership capabilities in project management and a strong achievement record in past work experience.

Experience in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Candidate must be fluent in Chinese.

Education:

University degree and above in Science, Marketing or Business Management is required. (e.g. BSc, M.D)

Working Experience:

At least 5 years of customer-facing experience in a sales or marketing role in the related industry.

At least 3 years of experience in people management.

Knowledge in the field of in-vitro diagnostics testing is a plus.

Understanding of Immunology Testing workflow and processes in the laboratory and of clinician is a plus.

Knowledge about medical aspects of IVD is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge: Good knowledge of Compliance requirements and clear understanding of high standards of Integrity
