The Manager – Clinical Research Lead leads the planning and delivery of clinical trials in Taiwan. The role leverages data-driven insights to identify opportunities, develop strategic recommendations, and effectively influence stakeholders to optimize clinical trial delivery and support future clinical research opportunities.

Responsibility:
To accelerate global product development with leadership:
1. Clinical Investigator Management
Accountable for activities required at clinical trial sites and by investigators and site staff participating in Lilly trials, inclusive of site identification and qualification, enrollment planning and execution, oversight of external vendors and study partners, and study delivery through database lock and close out. Ensures effective coordination and performance management across sites and vendors to support high-quality and timely clinical trial execution.
2. Clinical Trial Manag e ment
Leads the development and execution of strategic clinical trial delivery plans, including enrollment, site engagement, and risk management strategies. Utilizes data-driven insights and innovative approaches to proactively assess the evolving study landscape, anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and influence internal and external stakeholders to drive informed decision-making, high-quality execution, and timely study delivery.
3. Business Management and Engagement
Establishes and develops strong professional relationships with active and potential clinical investigators to expand and maintain clinical research partnership opportunities. Leverages strategic engagement planning to strengthen site capabilities, enhance investigator experience, and support future clinical research opportunities for Lilly. Serves as a mentor and coach to junior colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, strategic thinking, and innovation. Encourages the use of data, digital technologies, and AI-enabled solutions to enhance decision-making, operational effectiveness, and clinical trial delivery.
Qualifications :
• At least 5 years of experience in clinical research, clinical trial management, or drug development, with a strong understanding of clinical research processes.
• Strong medical knowledge in the respective therapeutic area.
• Excellent customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including strategic and creative thinking.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills.
• Travel required.
Additional Skills/Preferences
Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate strategic plans, recommendations, and business insights to senior regional and global stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions and effectively represent local market perspectives in a global environment.
Demonstrated ability to leverage data, digital technologies, and AI-enabled solutions to enhance decision-making and clinical trial delivery.
