The Position
The Global Digital Hub has been established within Roche Services & Solutions Center. Our main purpose is to strengthen the digital capabilities of Roche globally by supporting central initiatives with Social Media Management, Brand Support, Digital Publishing Services, Marketing Automation, Copywriting and Creative Design.
As a Business Support Specialist you play an active part in the life cycle of digital solutions roadmap, which support the global/regional/affiliate business partners by providing a seamless digital experience for our customers. The role acts as a subject matter expert role to reach Global Digital Hub’s and its direct stakeholders’ key objectives and business goals by owning and executing digital projects to enable relevant stakeholders being accountable for their own business outcomes and partnering them to reach those.
The role scope includes identifying areas for improvements, process changes as well as best practices, training. The role is responsible for identifying and prioritizing operational changes (including business relevant system configurations) and fixes.
The role is connected to respective product development, and covers many aspects such as prioritizing team backlog and/or contributing to the Product Vision, Roadmap, and/or content presentations, and/or preparing and running Program Increment (PI) planning to deliver the highest business impact.
The Business Support Specialist role is responsible for ensuring that the Roche digital platforms, systems and processes are aligned with global best practices and are continuously enhanced and developed to support Roche digital maturity, as well as support affiliates with roll out planning and execution.
The Opportunity:
Understanding the business partners’ and stakeholders’ preferences and consulting, recommending, developing solutions to reach goals.
Handling incident- and service requests.
Consulting on and resolving issues regarding incorrect setup and platform limitations (tool handling issues, business logic issues, data availability/consistency issues, etc.).
Driving resolution of business issues and contribute to technical problem resolution; and Participate in Stakeholder meetings as a subject matter expert and point of contact.
Supporting key global stakeholders as well as affiliates by consulting them on how to further develop their digital performance and ensure they leverage the available digital tools in order to meet their overall goals.
Who you are:
You are a proactive, innovative problem-solver with a focus on sustainable and scalable solutions. You love to stay abreast of the digital technology trends in an endlessly changing digital operations landscape.
You own a Bss/Msc degree, Desirable in Computing and IT and/or you have 3+ years of digital marketing/technology experience; preferably in a global environment with an established track record of influencing processes development in the area of own expertise
You are a forward thinking professional, with excellent understanding of service ecosystems, including technical specification requirements and business processes
You have an agile (lean, scrum, SaFe 5.1) mindset with demonstrated capability to dramatically simplify and prioritize is preferred but not required
You show customer-focused behavior in everything you do, combined with a proactive approach and positive mindset.
You have have great interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
