What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

Through effective partnership with lead project statistician, provide statistical inputs to study designs, statistical analysis plans, interpretation of statistical results, project development plans, and regulatory submission strategies

Provide planning, delivery and communication of statistical analyses, data presentations, and scientific reports, including clinical trial results, trial topline results, exploratory and meta-analysis results

Support for publication activities , scientific presentations, and regulatory query responses

Make decisions to resolve moderately complex problems, developing new options guided by policies in non-standard situations

Develop effective collaborations with cross-functions within Clinical R&D, and external regulatory, industry, professional and academic organizations

Accountable for study level and submission level statistical deliverables on assigned projects

Collaborate with project statisticians and statistical leaders to establish consistent methodologies within the therapeutic area

Ensure that all study and project level statistical activities are conducted in compliance with the company processes and relevant regulatory requirements

Generate innovative ideas and spearhead intricate projects across various business units

Participate in research on statistical methodology and its applications pertinent to business needs

Engage in professional development activities both within and outside the organization, ensuring continuous growth and contribution to the field

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

PhD with at least 1 year of statistical consultation experience

Proven track record in delivering timely and high-quality statistical contributions and scientific reports for clinical trials aimed at regulatory submissions

Deep knowledge of experimental design and cutting-edge technologies to enhance business processes

Ability to identify, comprehend, and apply pertinent scientific literature

Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear and effective dissemination of information

Experience in developing and managing plans to achieve objectives

Ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations and make decisions to resolve moderately complex problems

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience

Expertise in biostatistical methodologies and their application in clinical trials

Experience with regulatory submissions and interactions with health authorities

Strong project management skills and ability to lead complex projects

Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to develop new options in non-standard situations

Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
