ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Description:
The SAP Serialization Support Analyst is responsible for supporting, monitoring, and enhancing SAP serialization processes across manufacturing, distribution, and order-to-cash flows. This role ensures compliance with global regulatory requirements (DSCSA, EU FMD, etc.) and supports business continuity across plants and distribution networks.
The analyst serves as a functional and technical SME for SAP Serialization and TraceLink integration, ensuring stable system performance, regulatory compliance, and seamless data exchange between SAP and external serialization platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for SAP serialization (ATTP) integrated with TraceLink system incidents and service requests.
Support SAP modules including:
SAP ATTP (Advanced Track & Trace for Pharmaceuticals)
SAP ECC / S/4HANA (SD, MM, LE, OTC integration)
SAP ICH (Information Collaboration Hub), where applicable
Monitor and troubleshoot: IDocs
RFC connections
Web services
Background jobs
Batch processing failures
Provide operational support for TraceLink serialization platform.
Troubleshoot SAP–TraceLink interface failures.
Monitor outbound and inbound message flows between SAP and TraceLink.
Support serial number provisioning, EPCIS message handling, and compliance reporting.
Coordinate issue resolution involving third-party CMOs and external trade partners connected via TraceLink.
Validate data consistency between SAP and TraceLink systems. Support regulatory reporting submissions via SAP and/or TraceLink.
Support change control, transport documentation, and system validation activities.
Participate in SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles.
Assist in production deployments and post-go-live stabilization.
Basic Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM majors and 3 to 6 years of SAP Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals (ATTP) and SD/PTS/WM/EWM OR
Diploma in computer science or STEM majors and 5 to 8 years of IT or years of SAP Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals (ATTP) and SD/PTS/WM/EWM/SRM
Functional Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
8+ years of SAP experience, with 3+ years in SAP ATTP/Serialization.
Hands-on experience with TraceLink integration and support.
Strong understanding of EPCIS, serial number lifecycle management, aggregation, and commissioning/decommissioning processes.
Experience supporting regulated pharmaceutical environments.
Knowledge of global serialization compliance requirements (DSCSA, EU FMD, etc.).
Good-to-Have Skills:
Good understanding of SAP SD and logistics process.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement.
Professional Certifications :
SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP S/4 Hana Sales and Distribution
Agile Certified Practitioner
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
