Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst โ QA & Agile with 5+ years of experience to support web and data-driven applications across enterprise platforms.
This role is suited for professionals who can bridge business requirements, testing, and Agile delivery, with hands-on involvement in validating applications, monitoring data workflows, and ensuring overall solution quality.
The ideal candidate will have experience in business analysis, software/data testing, and Agile practices, along with a strong willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities such as Scrum Master.
Key Responsibilities
๐ Agile & Scrum Responsibilities (Primary)
Act as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator for the team.
Lead Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming).
Ensure adherence to Agile principles and best practices.
Track sprint progress, identify risks, and remove blockers.
Facilitate communication and coordination across cross-functional teams.
Drive continuous improvement in team processes and delivery efficiency.

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business expectations and technical delivery.
Support backlog refinement and prioritization activities.

Perform functional and data validation testing across web and data platforms.
Design and execute test cases based on business requirements.
Validate application functionality and data accuracy.
Identify, track, and support resolution of defects.
Ensure overall quality, accuracy, and completeness of delivered solutions.

Work closely with developers, QA, data engineers, and business stakeholders.
Ensure clear communication of requirements, issues, and status updates.
Maintain documentation for requirements, testing, and processes.
Optional / Nice to Have Responsibilities
๐ Data Platform Monitoring & Validation
Monitor daily data workflows and job executions
(e.g., Databricks or similar platforms) .
Investigate job failures and support root cause analysis.
Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve data and pipeline issues.
Ensure data integrity across systems and reporting layers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, QA/testing, or Agile roles.
Strong experience in Agile/Scrum practices, including facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
Experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
Hands-on experience in software testing or data testing.
Familiarity with web application testing and/or data platform testing.
Working knowledge of data platforms
(e.g., Databricks or similar, monitoring and basic troubleshooting) is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across BA, QA, and Scrum roles.
Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and take on additional responsibilities.
Nice to Have
Experience with reporting and visualization tools
(e.g., Tableau, Power BI, REACT JS or equivalents) .
Prior experience acting as a Scrum Master.
Basic knowledge of SQL and data validation techniques.
Experience working in enterprise or large-scale environments.
Familiarity with test management or defect tracking tools.
