What you will do
The Sr Associate IS Analyst – Veeva Automation Engineer role at Amgen involves designing and developing complex automation solutions, providing mentorship, and following standard processes. The role requires expertise in multiple programming languages and test automation frameworks, overseeing system integration, and driving process optimization. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with the ability to identify automation opportunities and train teams.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support design and testing of complex Veeva automation solutions including business process and test automation.
Provide mentorship and ensure standard processes are followed.
Expertise in multiple programming languages relevant to test automation like Java, Python, JavaScript
Understanding of software design patterns and architecture
Advanced knowledge of different test automation frameworks and patterns.
Oversee system integration, testing, and solving.
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with standards.
Drive process optimization and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Proactively identify and implement opportunities to automate tasks and develop reusable frameworks.

Basic Qualifications:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with 5-9 years’ experience in Computer Science, IT or related field experience.
Functional Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
Strong expertise in automation, with hands-on experience using UiPath for both test automation and business process automation.
Expertise in various automation frameworks and patterns, along with the ability to adapt and implement them effectively.
Proficiency in at least one advanced programming language, such as Python or Java.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to create detailed documentation.
Experience in use of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Ability to work in a startup-like environment with little supervision
Good understanding of functional testing concepts, including test design, business process validation, and regression testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Veeva Vault Platform and Products
Experience with advanced configuration knowledge of Veeva Vault platform including Veeva configuration settings, Veeva Vault APIs and custom builds.
Excellent analytical and solve skills
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in translating technology content into business-language at different levels
Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
High degree of initiative and self-motivation
Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully
Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong time and task leadership skills to estimate and successfully meet project timeline with ability to bring consistency and quality assurance across various projects.
Professional Certifications:
Veeva Vault Platform Administrator or Equivalent Vault Certification (Preferred)
SAFe for Teams (Preferred)
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams.
Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
