ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Description:
The role is responsible for designing, building, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns that drive personalized customer engagement across email, SMS, and digital advertising channels. This role will leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Salesforce CDP (Data Cloud) to build data-driven audience segments, develop multichannel journeys, and activate campaigns aligned to business strategies.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in marketing automation platforms, a strong understanding of data segmentation and activation, and experience in campaign orchestration across multiple channels. Success in this role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including marketing strategy, data teams, and creative services.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, build, and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, and Cloud Pages
Build and manage audience segmentation and activation using Salesforce CDP (Data Cloud) to enable personalized, data-driven campaigns (e.g., validating data source trust and profile stitching rules in Data Cloud)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, data, creative, and sales to align on requirements, campaign logic, and KPIs
Develop personalized and dynamic content strategies using AMPscript and SFMC capabilities
Configure journey orchestration, including entry criteria, decision splits, and exit logic to optimize customer engagement
Implement tracking strategies and ensure campaigns meet data privacy and US compliance standards (e.g., CAN-SPAM, CCPA, etc.)
Conduct QA and UAT to validate campaign logic, audience targeting, rendering, and data accuracy
Monitor campaign performance, IP reputation, and deliverability, providing recommendations for optimization
Stay current on SFMC and Salesforce CDP (Data Cloud) enhancements, marketing technologies, and best practices
Participate in agile sprint planning and provide technical estimations for campaign development
Basic Qualifications and Experience:
Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience in Marketing Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field, OR
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in Marketing Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field,
Functional Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, and Cloud Page development
Experience with Salesforce CDP (Data Cloud) for audience segmentation and activation
Proficiency in SOQL, SQL, and AMPscript, with a strong understanding of data structures in CRM environments
Good-to-Have Skills:
Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and data visualization platforms
Knowledge of data governance, customer data privacy best practices, and United States compliance standards (e.g., CAN-SPAM, CCPA, etc.)
Experience integrating digital advertising strategies within SFMC ecosystems
Exposure to agile methodologies and sprint planning processes
Preferred Professional Certifications
Preferred Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Developer)
Preferred Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification
Soft Skills:

Effective organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
