The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in technology-driven environments for Finance, specifically implementing and supporting Oracle Hyperion (EPM) solutions, with a passion for fostering innovation and excellence in the biotechnology industry. Key responsibilities include:
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead and manage large, diverse teams within a matrixed organization.
Responsible for managing, growing, and developing the Amgen Technology team in India, ensuring global ways of working are imbedded in the local organization
Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams
Develop and implement strategic plans for technology and workforce.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the software development lifecycle
Attract and recruit top talent as part of an extensive Technology organization to be hired within India.
Understand the decision-making process, workflows, and business and information needs of business partners and stakeholders
Contribute and define business outcomes + requirements, technology solutions, and services
Work with Product Owners, Service Owners to ensure that delivery matches commitments, acting as an escalation point and facilitating communication when service commitments are not met
Ensure communication of key performance metrics and analysis of unmet needs
Participate in stakeholder and other leadership meetings, working with other parts of the organization, and functional groups to ensure successful delivery
Drive data quality and integrity in Hyperion planning systems; understanding the data relationships and data flows between various systems including SAP, DRM, and AWS.
Ensure platform availability, performance, scalability, and reliability
Facilitate and support the unimpeded execution of annual budget, quarterly forecast and Long-range Plan financial processes.
Basic Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree with 12-17 years of Information Systems or Finance & Accounting
Functional Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
Proven experience of implementing or managing multiple Planning solutions in Oracle Hyperion (on-prem experience preferred). Experience with multiple EPM tools a plus
Functional experience in financial budgeting and reporting at large corporate environment
Experience with Oracle DRM or similar master data management tools
Demonstrated experience in managing technology initiatives and teams with a track record of successful innovation
Experience in people management and leading matrixed teams, and passion for mentorship, culture and fostering the development of talent.
Exceptional collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships and build new partnerships.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Experience in a leadership role within a pharmaceutical or technology organization, preferably in Finance and HR business functions
Experience with Software engineering best-practices, including but not limited to version control, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and automated testing
Experience using and adoption of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Established business partnerships and IS governance practices involving senior business stakeholders
Experience in managing diverse, cross-functional teams (data engineers, analysts, scientists).
Professional Certifications
Oracle Hyperion Planning Certified Implementation Specialist
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for Teams (preferred)

Shift Information:
This position requires you to work a later shift and may be assigned a second or third shift schedule. Candidates must be willing and able to work during evening or night shifts, as required based on business requirements.
