This role is ideal for someone who is strong in data, enjoys solving business problems, and is willing to adopt modern analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Build and deliver dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs using pharmaceutical and commercial data sources.

Analyze datasets such as claims data, prescription data, formulary data, payer data, DDD data, rebate data, specialty pharmacy data, and IDN affiliation data.

Use SQL to query, transform, validate, and integrate large datasets.

Use Python for data preparation, automation, exploratory analysis, and quality checks.

Create and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent BI tools.

Build data models, KPI frameworks, business rules, and reporting logic to support scalable analytics.

Conduct managed markets analytics, including formulary position, utilization management, payer restrictions, customer segmentation, and access performance.

Partner with global stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify business questions, and present insights clearly.

Convert complex analysis into simple, business-ready recommendations.

Use AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve productivity, accelerate insight generation, automate repetitive work, and support better business outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience

Proficient in SQL, including joins, aggregations, CTEs, window functions, and working with large datasets.

Intermediate knowledge of Python, preferably for data analysis, automation, or scripting.

Strong BI experience with Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent visualization tools.

Experience creating or working with data models, dashboards, KPI definitions, and business rules.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

High attention to detail and strong data quality mindset.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Strong willingness to learn and adopt AI-enabled tools and modern analytics approaches.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial, payer, market access, or managed markets analytics.

Understanding of the US pharmaceutical ecosystem, including payers, PBMs, IDNs, formulary coverage, utilization management, claims, and reimbursement.

Exposure to datasets such as IQVIA LAAD, Symphony Claims, IQVIA NPA, IQVIA DDD, formulary coverage data, specialty pharmacy data, rebate data, or payer data.

Experience with advanced analytics such as segmentation, longitudinal patient analysis, cohort analysis, time-series analysis, or diagnostic analytics.

Experience using AI tools, automation tools, or analytics accelerators to improve productivity and insight generation.

Basic Qualifications

Master’s degree with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience; or

Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience; or

Diploma with 7 to 9 years of relevant experience.

Relevant fields may include analytics, business intelligence, computer science, statistics, data science, engineering, economics, pharmacy, life sciences, or related disciplines.

What Makes You a Great Fit

You are a strong fit for this role if you can work with complex data, build clear dashboards, write strong SQL, use Python to improve efficiency, communicate with stakeholders, and turn analysis into business insights.

We are especially looking for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to use AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve analytics delivery and business impact.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
