About this opportunity
ROLE SUMMARY
The Health Representative is a science-based promotional sales professional responsible for engaging Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) across a broad portfolio of products and therapeutic areas.
While this is not a Medical Affairs role, the incumbent is expected to possess a strong understanding of the scientific evidence and value proposition of Pfizer products within approved labeling. The Health Representative connects, supports, and educates HCPs through both in-person and virtual engagements, helping them better meet patient needs while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver compliant, science-based promotional messages that support HCPs in addressing patient needs.
Engage customers through a broad range of relevant content, including disease state education and product-related information.
Act as a key point of contact (POC) for seamless and compliant connections to Pfizer subject matter experts (SMEs) and resources when appropriate.
Support customers in adopting Pfizer's evolving customer engagement model and digital platforms.
Develop a deep understanding of customer preferences regarding content and communication channels to create an optimal customer experience.
Build and maintain strong relationships with HCPs across assigned territories through both in-person and virtual interactions.
Gain a thorough understanding of customer and patient needs, tailor relevant product information, and connect customers with appropriate Pfizer resources.
Provide accurate, balanced, and approved product information in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies.
Continuously develop awareness of external market conditions, healthcare trends, and customer needs to generate valuable customer insights.
Manage performance against agreed business objectives and performance targets while maintaining full compliance with Legal, Medical, Regulatory, and company requirements.
Ensure appropriate commercial support is provided for relevant Pfizer medicines within assigned accounts.
Share relevant product, brand, and therapeutic area updates with Healthcare Professionals.
Effectively communicate value propositions across multiple products and therapeutic areas.
Establish trusted relationships and successfully navigate complex healthcare stakeholder environments across both hospital and community settings.
Identify customer challenges and bring meaningful insights back to the organization to help develop solutions that improve patient care.
Serve as a single point of contact for relevant Pfizer medicines within assigned customer accounts.
Demonstrate an understanding of how Pfizer's products and therapeutic areas complement one another in serving patient needs.
Adapt engagement strategies and priorities based on evolving customer and patient needs.
Promote a customer-centric and comprehensive approach to supporting HCPs and patient care across relevant Pfizer brands and therapeutic areas.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Healthcare, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted and sustainable relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical skills with the ability to connect clinical, market, and customer insights to business opportunities.
Strong learning agility and willingness to continuously develop scientific, digital, and business capabilities.
Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
Adaptability, resilience, and effective problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
Strong business acumen with the ability to drive results and effectively manage resources.
Ability to engage customers effectively through both virtual and face-to-face interactions.

Demonstrated integrity and commitment to Pfizer's Values, Compliance standards, policies, and SOPs.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Preferred
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Previous experience in Oncology or a related therapeutic area is preferred.
Healthcare professional background (e.g., Pharmacist, Nurse, or equivalent healthcare experience).
Customer-facing sales experience within healthcare or pharmaceutical environments.
