About this opportunity

THE POSITION

Build trusted partnerships with external stakeholders by driving peer-to-peer exchange of knowledge and improving disease awareness/understanding (in alignment with therapeutic-area/asset strategy) to facilitate appropriate patient-management decisions

From the clinical development phase onwards, inform strategic decisions, support organizational goals, and help improve patient care, by developing a deep understanding of the therapeutic area and healthcare landscape (including stakeholder networks and patient care pathways), and gathering actionable insights

Identify the needs of external stakeholders, recognize opportunities for healthcare solutions and data-generation, and proactively address the needs by collaborating with internal stakeholders and leveraging external partnerships

Tasks & Responsibilities

Responsible for engagement of external experts and scientific and clinical exchange between BI and HCPs to build the understanding and the value to clinical practice of BI products aligned with scientific objectives in Integrated Customer Planning (ICP)

Responsible for documenting scientific interactions between BI and HCPs and for sharing respective information to the brand team

Execute medical projects or Boehringer-initiated activities such as medical education, round-table discussions, advisory boards, publications, and congress activities.

Provides and delivers important information to HCPs about the appropriate use of BI products.

Responsible for execution of advocacy development plans and support execution of medical affairs activities based on ICP in collaboration with brand team

May initiate interaction with EE/HCP when BI needs to gain insight or to gather specific feedback to guide internal decision-making (perception tracking/ treatment landscape)

Provides formal medical/scientific information to HCPs in response to unsolicited requests with appropriate information

Requirements

Bachelors in the field of life/health science or other Medicine-related discipline. Possessing an advanced degree (e.g., MD, PhD, MSc) will be an advantage

A minimum of 3 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in Medical Affairs, is preferred

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex scientific information with confidence and clarity to diverse stakeholders.

The potential to think strategically, connecting scientific data to broader business, regulatory, and market access objectives

Good interpersonal skills

Proficiency for English in professional level and fluent in Thai are required
