【Responsibility/Key Tasks 】HEOR director is a leadership member of Evidence and Observational Research (EOR) and leading HEOR team as a head of HEOR.
Accountabilities Establish HEOR organization and ensure the sufficient HEOR study management capabilities and capacity of the team members Hold the ownership of the delivery of HEOR studies/projects, and accountable for the feasibility, progress, financial expense and the quality of the delivered evidence as per the agreed standards Establish collaborative relationships with medical affairs functions including other departments within EOR, global evidence generation functions, medical business partners, local R&D, other marketing teams Track companies, brand and medical strategies to develop AstraZeneca’s HEOR approach to meet the evidence needs, and, in collaboration with other departments within EOR, especially DS team, develop the approach and strategy for the use of real-world data (RWD) to address those needs Monitor the evolving Medical Affairs landscape, anticipate change, and incorporate forward-looking approaches into planning and execution of HEOR/RWD studies
【Responsibility/Key Tasks 】HEOR study delivery:Oversee the operational/methodological feasibility of HEOR-related Evidence Generation programs align with business strategy• Ensure the scientific and operational quality of HEOR study/project plans align with brand and evidence generation strategy• Ensure consistent of scientific design structure with project purpose and objectives• Ensure that HEOR study progress are tracked, monitored, and delivered to the agreed timelines, budget, quality and all relevant regulations• Ensure the capable external service providers are selected as per the project requirements• Represent AZKK to manage the governance with external service providers and genuinely address any issues around HEOR study/project delivery• Ensure the data integrity and research ethic to oversee process and activities of HEOR end to end project planning to research findings and interpretations
Strategy development for the RWD utilization:• Partner with DS to shape the RWD utilization approach and strategy in line with evidence generation strategy; however, accountability for RWD study design and execution does not rest with the HEOR Director
Organizational development:Uplift high-potential HEOR and RWD-related evidence generation capability for medical function individuals and develop skills• Establish effective organization, process, roles, operations and standards• Lead and develop the preferred vendors as per the sourcing strategy agreed with relevant function and managers• Manage evidence planning framework/guidance to reflect best practices generated across medical affairs teams• Plan resources and allocate them effectively to evidence projects
Establish and leverage Global-Regional-Local networksBring best practices/lessons learnt within AstraZeneca to Japan Medical / EOR• Access required expertise, cutting edge technologies and solutions for HEOR and RWD-related Evidence Generation in Japan Medical• Establish aligned and collaborative operations across global team

【経験 / Experience】
<必須 / Mandatory>
• > 5years HEOR Leadership experience • Track records in successful planning and delivery of HEOR-related studies/projects with multiple therapeutic areas• Line management experience or track record in developing high performing people / team

• Research using RWD, statistics and epidemiology • Working both in Medical and Market Access functions (>5 years each) • Working experience in global organization / teams
