What is the Graduate Development Program (GDP)?

The GDP is a two-year rotational program designed to launch your career and accelerate your development within UCB. Across three rotations within Global Quality, you'll collaborate with experienced colleagues, contribute to meaningful initiatives, and develop the expertise needed to help ensure the quality of medicines and devices that make a difference for patients.

Throughout the program, you'll rotate across Global Quality teams, contributing to areas such as Artwork & Master Data Management, Quality Systems, Manufacturing Quality, and Digital Quality initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to explore different roles based on business priorities, your interests, and your development goals ; while being fully supported through dedicated coaching from your manager, guidance from a mentor, and day‑to‑day help from a buddy.

You'll develop future-ready capabilities in pharmaceutical quality, compliance, digital transformation, and process excellence. Through hands-on experience, you'll deepen your understanding of quality systems across development, clinical trials, commercial supply, and medical devices while contributing to initiatives that help ensure medicines meet the highest standards for patients worldwide

As part of UCB’s Early Talent community, you’ll also connect with peers through workshops, site visits, and networking events that enrich your learning and broaden your perspective.

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
