Director, Cybersecurity Engineering

Our company is looking for a leader to join our Cyber Rapid Innovation organization to spearhead new technology initiatives. This leader serves as an enterprise-wide point of contact and SME for emerging technologies and how they impact our overall security footprint. Additionally, this individual will serve as a liaison between our company and the broader cyber industry and community. This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office) based in Rahway, NJ

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end proof of concept exercises for our CISO organization

Interface with vendors, peers, and the broader industry to stay on top of new and emerging technologies in the security ecosystem

Oversee the engineering and implementation of complex security systems bo.th on-premises and in the cloud

Build a strong internal network to ensure cohesion across multiple business verticals

Ensure engineering excellence is front and center as new solutions are brought in and enabled

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field

Minimum five years of managerial experience in people leadership, with the ability to inspire and guide teams

At least 5 years' experience in Engineering leadership experience, with a specific focus on large enterprise-scale initiatives

Strong written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly

Demonstrated innovation in the field of technology and/or cybersecurity

Adept at networking and building partnerships within the industry

Commitment to execution excellence, ensuring high standards in all projects

Strong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to solve complex problems

The salary range for this role is

$156,900.00 - $247,000.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
