We are looking for a Digital Technology Lead Process Excellence & Automation who is strategic, collaborative, and forward-thinking to join us in our Digital Technology team, based in our HQ in Brussels, Belgium.
About the role
In this global role, you will help shape how Digital Technology delivers work more efficiently, consistently, and sustainably across the organization. You will lead the roadmap for process excellence and automation, helping teams improve how platforms and applications are deployed, governed, and supported. You will work across functional and technology teams to turn improvement opportunities into practical, scalable solutions. This role combines leadership, coordination, and innovation, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, modern delivery practices, and long-term value creation in a secure and regulated environment.
Who you’ll work with
You will be working in a team that partners closely with Digital Technology stakeholders, functional leaders, delivery teams, and external partners across multiple regions. You will collaborate with colleagues supporting cloud applications, platforms, cybersecurity and enterprise services, bringing together technical and functional perspectives. The team values curiosity, shared accountability, and practical problem-solving, and works across a diverse stakeholder landscape to deliver reliable, scalable, and future-ready solutions.
What you’ll do
Define and evolve the process excellence and Devops automation roadmap, aligned with Digital Technology strategy, business priorities, and long-term operational goals
Lead the improvement of platform and application deployment practices through automation, standardization, and modern ways of working
Design and support scalable automation and artificial intelligence-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, quality, resilience, and user experience
Coordinate internal and external contributors, ensuring clear priorities, strong collaboration, and consistent delivery across a global scope
Partner with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and translate business needs into practical, sustainable, and well-governed solutions
Monitor performance indicators, support budget and resource planning, and drive adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, computer science, or another relevant field
At least 7 years of experience in process improvement, Devops tooling and processes, automation pipelines, digital transformation, or technology leadership roles within complex organizations
Strong understanding of modern software delivery, platform enablement, automation, and cloud-based technology environments, especially Microsoft platforms (Azure Devops, Github, etc...)
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and engaging both technical and functional stakeholders across a global environment
Ability to balance innovation, governance, compliance, and risk management in regulated environments
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and influence decisions at different levels
