As a Therapeutic Area (TA) Lead within the Decision Sciences team at CD&A India, you will serve as the single point of accountability for all marketing analytics delivery for your assigned TA(s). You will partner closely with U.S.-based CD&A investment and media teams to deliver actionable insights and data-driven recommendations that directly inform brand, access, and omnichannel strategies.
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end delivery of advanced analytics and modeling solutions, including predictive models, patient analytics, alert systems, measurement frameworks, and experimentation design, for assigned therapeutic areas.
Partner with investment and media analytics teams to align analytical priorities with brand strategies, business needs, and launch goals.
Integrate analytics from multiple domains into cohesive insights that support both strategic and tactical decision making.
Ensure alignment of methodologies, model documentation, and insight narratives with CD&A standards for quality, reproducibility, and transparency.
Collaborate with engineering and capability teams to operationalize models, establish performance monitoring, and ensure scalability of analytic solutions.
Translate technical model outputs into actionable business stories for U.S. stakeholders, influencing data-driven brand decisions.
Mentor L5 and L4 data scientists working on TA-aligned projects; ensure effective prioritization, delivery governance, and performance management.
Act as the analytics ambassador for your TA, representing Amgen India’s Marketing Investment and Optimization (MIO) capability in business planning discussions, Quarterly Business Reviews, and enterprise forums.

Basic Qualifications
Educational background in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or related quantitative field.
12-17 Years of total exp and 7–10 years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or commercial effectiveness with exposure to pharmaceutical or life sciences domains.
Strong understanding of how brand investment decisions are made, deployed, and measured within commercial pharma.
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical insights in clear, actionable business language to senior non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Databricks.
Experience managing analytics delivery teams and coordinating with global counterparts on timelines, expectations, and deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with pharma media and investment analytics and brand measurement frameworks.
Familiarity with media and omnichannel measurement, marketing mix modeling, or field force optimization analytics.
Experience working in a global matrixed environment supporting commercial and medical stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong bias toward structured storytelling and collaborative problem solving.
