This Boston-based role puts you at the center of commercial execution, turning segmentation, targeting, and territory design into smarter customer engagement and measurable business impact. You will help ensure that every field interaction is purposeful, every territory is optimized, and every decision is grounded in data and patient need.

You will lead the US deployment strategy across multiple business units, partnering closely with senior commercial and sales leaders. How would you design a deployment framework that gets the right teams to the right customers at the right time? Accountabilities

Deployment Strategy Leadership: Set and evolve the US Deployment Strategy and Framework, spanning customer segmentation, targeting, field force sizing and structure, and territory design to enable precision engagement and accelerate growth.

Cross-Functional Partnership: Proactively partner with business and sales leadership to translate strategy into field action plans, build alignment, and deliver outcomes across diverse brands and markets.

Framework Ownership: Serve as the subject matter expert and champion of the Deployment Framework, educating partners and embedding standard processes across teams.

Quarterly Alignment Orchestration: Direct the quarterly alignment process for assigned business units, ensuring operational readiness and seamless execution against strategic objectives.

Data and Systems Integrity: Maintain alignment between upstream and downstream systems to ensure accurate rosters, clean alignments, and reliable data for field execution and analytics.

Territory Optimization and Scorecards: Collaborate with sales leaders to evaluate and recommend territory changes; develop and socialize alignment scorecards that track quality, efficiency, and impact.

Realignment Program Management: Plan and implement major and minor field realignments end to end, scenario modeling, decision support, change management, and on-time deployment.

Roster Governance: Oversee roster management for assigned business units, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance for all field personnel changes.

Regulatory Compliance: Partner with Government Relations to meet state registration requirements for field personnel, ensuring accurate reporting and avoiding monetary penalties.

Essential Skills/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

8+ years of related health care industry experience (ie: pharmaceuticals, strategy consulting, etc.)

Advanced knowledge of Field Force Deployment and Sales Force Effectiveness processes including practical application in the pharmaceutical industry, including standards and best practices

Demonstrated ability to evaluate optimal sales territory alignments

Strong business insight complemented with knowledge and experience of the US pharmaceutical industry data and market is a must

Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment while successfully managing multiple complex assignments

High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency

Excellent presentation and communication skills, ability to interact with senior management.

Advanced command on analytical tools (e.g., MS Excel, Access)

Proven business acuity, including strong analytical skills, interpretation, and business problem solving

Desirable Skills/Experience

Pharmaceutical Sales Experience

Master’s degree or MBA a plus

Territory Design software experience preferred i.e. Javelin Territory Designer or similar

Excellent written and verbal skills and strong interpersonal skills

High level of proficiency in MS Office software including: Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint

Mastery of Microsoft Excel

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $147,908 to $221,862. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives, an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
