We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Architecture Leader (Senior Manager or Associate Director) to join our IOPS IT team, ensuring the reliable operation and strategic development of IT and Operational Technology infrastructure across our GxP manufacturing environment. In this role, you will define and lead infrastructure architecture, spanning hyper-converged systems, advanced networking, and wireless technologies, while collaborating with corporate IT, automation teams, service providers, and cross-functional partners to maintain secure, scalable, and compliant operations. Discover your role:
Define, implement, and lead IT/OT infrastructure architecture with a focus on hyper-converged systems, advanced networking, and wireless technologies; design and document infrastructure architecture across networking, compute, and security domains
Ensure reliable operation of IT/OT infrastructure including servers, hardware, communications, and desktop support; provide operational oversight for data centre operations, network services, telecom, and asset management
Build scalable and secure wireless networks to support industrial and enterprise needs; maintain robust security measures including data integrity and disaster recovery planning
Apply security frameworks such as NIST CSF, IEC 62443, or ISO 27001 within a regulated environment; maintain compliance with automation system standards including DeltaV/Emerson and Rockwell/Allen-Bradley
Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA, and global regulatory requirements; ensure systems and procedures support effective monitoring, reporting, and audit readiness
Manage service providers to ensure high-quality delivery aligned to SLAs; act as escalation point for major incidents and provide regular management reporting on service performance and IT operations
Collaborate with corporate IT and OT partners to ensure seamless system integration and alignment across the enterprise
Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse technical team spanning Helpdesk, Desktop, Server, and Network functions; oversee recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and goal setting for the IT Operations team
Hands-on experience designing and documenting infrastructure architecture across networking, compute, and security domains required
Demonstrated experience with security frameworks such as NIST CSF, IEC 62443, or ISO 27001 and applying them within regulated environments
Demonstrated experience managing diverse technical teams including Helpdesk, Desktop, Server, and Network staff; experience managing vendors and managed service providers required
Experience developing and deploying SLAs, metrics, and operational best practices; proven track record implementing ITIL practices within an organization
Strong background in Microsoft OS including Server and GPO elements; strong understanding of data integrity and associated tools
Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning required
Knowledge of IT compliance guidelines including PIC/S, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and GAMP preferred
This role requires:
BS/BA in Information Technology or a related field
Senior Manager: 8+ years of progressively more responsible experience, including 8+ years of management experience and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an FDA or similarly regulated environment
Associate Director: 10 years of progressively more responsible experience, including 10 years of management experience and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an FDA or similarly regulated environment
May consider equivalent combination of education and experience. Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role
