We are looking for an Artwork & Packaging Strategist Lead who is strategic, collaborative, and decisive to join our Devices, Artwork and Packaging team based out of our campus in Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium
About the Role
As a senior expert, you will define and lead the global artwork strategy across the product portfolio, ensuring effective implementation throughout the lifecycle. You’ll guide a team of A&P Strategists, driving daily activities, supporting development, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
You will oversee strategic planning and execution for artwork implementation, act as the primary contact for Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Technical Operations, and resolve artwork-related issues. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with global and regional regulations, monitoring KPIs, reporting to senior management, and leading process optimization and digital transformation initiatives. You’ll stay ahead of regulatory changes, share insights, and deliver training programs to build team capabilities and promote best practices.
Who You’ll Work With
You will report to the Head of Artwork & Packaging Operations and collaborate with A&P Strategists, A&P Coordination Experts, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Technical Operations, and senior management across global and regional teams.
What You’ll Do
Lead development and deployment of artwork strategies across product portfolios
Manage and mentor a team of A&P Strategists, promoting excellence and collaboration
Oversee global product portfolio planning and change assessments for timely, compliant execution
Act as senior point of contact for Regulatory Affairs and key stakeholders
Resolve artwork-related deviations, complaints, and change controls, ensuring effective CAPA implementation
Identify and lead process optimization initiatives for artwork and packaging operations
Maintain expert-level knowledge of global and regional regulatory requirements
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance team capabilities and promote best practices
Monitor KPIs, prepare reports for senior management, and ensure governance standards are upheld
Interested? For this role, you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, or related field (Master’s or PhD preferred)
Extensive experience in pharmaceutical artwork and packaging strategy
Proven leadership experience in a global or matrixed environment
Strong understanding of regulatory and supply chain processes
Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
