Based in Bengaluru, you will join a team that partners with global and US collaborators to build and deliver Scientific content strategies. Your work will translate sophisticated evidence into precise, timely communications for healthcare professionals, ensuring every response and resource is accurate, balanced, and compliant. Accountabilities:

Scientific Content Development: Create, review, and maintain scientific materials, including scientific narratives and platforms, MSL resources, infographics, standard responses, FAQs, and other digital and non-digital assets that advise and engage healthcare professionals across therapeutic areas.

Medical Information Response Perfection: Provide accurate, , and scientifically balanced responses to medical inquiries from healthcare providers to support the use of AstraZeneca products.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with global partners and teams to ensure content aligns with strategic priorities and adheres to regulatory standards, company policies, and industry guidelines.

Evidence Synthesis: Conduct literature searches and appraise scientific evidence; ensure appropriate use and permissions for all sourced content.

Data Translation: Translate sophisticated scientific data into clear, audience-appropriate messages that support therapeutic area objectives, product positioning, and educational initiatives.

Medical Accuracy and Compliance: Perform medical accuracy reviews and uphold meticulous standards for scientific integrity, balance, and compliance across all results.

Operational Perfection: Contribute to process improvements that improve quality, turnaround time, and efficiency; help build and supervise management systems and indicators for performance clarity.

Digital and AI Innovation: Drive adoption of digital solutions and emerging technologies to modernize scientific content delivery and scale impact across channels.

Launch and Congress Readiness: Support strategic medical planning and ensure timely execution of content tied to launches, data updates, and scientific congresses, consistently meeting deadlines.

Workstream Leadership: Lead or chip in to key workstreams in scientific content creation, medical information services, or digital innovation, depending on experience and business need, expanding your influence from immediate results to broader strategic outcomes.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Sophisticated scientific degree (PharmD preferred, MD, PhD, or equivalent).

3-5 years of proven experience in scientific communications or related roles within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.

Clinical and healthcare systems expertise.

Scientific literature evaluation and analysis.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill sophisticated scientific information into clear and compelling messages for diverse audiences.

Scientific/medical writing, communication, and content creation (e.g., slide decks).

Strategic problem solver with strong business insight, project management, and organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to work across teams or functions.

Competence in applying technology/platforms.

Demonstrates tight-knit collaboration skills, shows sensitivity to cultural differences, and remains open to change.

Ability to apply local regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements to Medical Affairs activities and drug information delivery.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

Experience developing digital content and/or digital content strategy.

Experience in mentoring and coaching team members (for senior roles).
