This position can be filled either as Process Manager or Senior Process Manager.

Tasks & responsibilities

You will,

Design and introduce globally harmonized business processes and application systems, always considering Boehringer's strategic objectives and the needs of the business units and Corporate Functions.

Manage existing processes and applications and ensuring business support, training, validation, governance, handling of new demands, measuring KPIs, continuous improvement and key user management.

Based on your experience, you drive innovative intentions and participate in digitalization projects.

Additional tasks for Senior Process Manager

You will be responsible for the full design and maintenance of efficient global standard processes. This includes:

The identification of optimization potentials and the development of optimization proposals in cooperation with the Global Process Owners (GPO)

Definition of process standardization for end-to-end processes and/or systems in collaboration with the GPO, business functions and IT

Collaboration in several global projects

Definition and alignment of user requirements with stakeholders

Support in the ongoing execution of processes and applications

Best practice sharing and community leadership

Ensuring validated and compliant processes and systems

Requirements

Studies with focus in Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Biology and/or Engineering related to Environmental Health and Safety

Experience in the EHS process domain with at least one of the following:

Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommending appropriate control measures.

Developing and delivering EHS training programs to educate employees on best practices and compliance with applicable regulations.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Investigating incidents and accidents, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future risks.

Monitoring and reporting EHS performance metrics to management and regulatory agencies as required.

Valuable knowledge in the implementation of software solutions: in EHS solutions (e.g. REA, Waste Management, Computer System Validation, GxP, and other regulatory requirements

Keeping up to date with relevant EHS regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

The global nature of this task requires good English. German and further languages would be an asset.

For this international position travel to other sites is part of the job profile

Additional requirements for Senior Process Manager

Relevant experience in min. 2 process domains and/or system support

Experience in instructing and coaching of colleagues and externals
