Regional Sales Manager, Oncology

Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop a team of oncology sales representatives to achieve sales and performance objectives.

Develop and execute territory and account strategies to maximize growth and market penetration.

Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and risks.

Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and relevant healthcare stakeholders.

Ensure execution of brand plans and field initiatives in alignment with business strategy.

Monitor team performance against KPIs and implement action plans to address gaps.

Collaborate with marketing, medical, market access, training, and other cross-functional teams.

Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and industry codes.

Support hiring, onboarding, training, and continuous development of team members.

Prepare business reviews, forecasts, and territory plans for leadership.

Qualifications:

Required

Bachelor’s degree in business, science, pharmacy, life sciences, or related field.

5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sales, preferably in oncology.

2+ years of people management experience.

Strong understanding of oncology markets, treatment pathways, and customer segments.

Demonstrated ability to drive performance and manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Strong business acumen and analytical skills.

Proficiency with CRM tools and standard MS Office applications.

Ability to travel as required within the assigned territory.

Preferred

Experience launching or supporting specialty products in oncology.

Experience working with hospital, clinic, and community oncology settings.

Knowledge of Canadian healthcare environment and payer/access landscape.

Experience in matrixed, cross-functional organizations.

Responsabilités:

Diriger, encadrer et développer une équipe de représentants des ventes en oncologie afin d’atteindre les objectifs de ventes et de performance.

Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de territoire et de comptes afin de maximiser la croissance et la pénétration du marché.

Analyser les tendances du marché, les informations clients et les activités concurrentielles afin d’identifier les occasions et les risques.

Établir et entretenir de solides relations avec les professionnels de la santé, les leaders d’opinion clés et les autres intervenants pertinents du secteur.

Assurer l’exécution des plans de marque et des initiatives terrain conformément à la stratégie d’affaires.

Suivre la performance de l’équipe à l’aide d’indicateurs clés de performance (KPI) et mettre en place des plans d’action pour combler les écarts.

Collaborer avec les équipes de marketing, des affaires médicales, de l’accès au marché, de la formation et les autres fonctions transversales.

Veiller à ce que toutes les activités respectent les lois, les règlements, les politiques de l’entreprise et les codes de conduite de l’industrie applicables.

Soutenir le recrutement, l’intégration, la formation et le développement continu des membres de l’équipe.

Préparer des revues d’affaires, des prévisions et des plans de territoire à l’intention de la direction.

Qualifications:

Exigences

Baccalauréat en administration des affaires, en sciences, en pharmacie, en sciences de la vie ou dans un domaine connexe.

Plus de 5 ans d’expérience en ventes pharmaceutiques, biotechnologiques ou dans le secteur de la santé, de préférence en oncologie.

Plus de 2 ans d’expérience en gestion de personnel.

Excellente compréhension des marchés de l’oncologie, des parcours thérapeutiques et des segments de clientèle.

Capacité démontrée à générer des résultats et à gérer plusieurs priorités simultanément.

Excellentes aptitudes en communication, en présentation, en négociation et en développement de relations.

Solide sens des affaires et fortes compétences analytiques.

Maîtrise des outils CRM et des applications Microsoft Office.

Disponibilité pour voyager au besoin dans le territoire assigné.

Atouts

Expérience du lancement ou du soutien de produits spécialisés en oncologie.

Expérience de travail avec les milieux hospitaliers, les cliniques et les centres communautaires spécialisés en oncologie.

Connaissance du système de santé canadien ainsi que de l’environnement des payeurs et de l’accès aux marchés.

Expérience au sein d’organisations matricielles et multidisciplinaires.
