THE POSITION
We are looking for a motivated, team-oriented and dynamic National Account Manager to strengthen the Italy Sales Team.
The National Account Manager Beef will be responsible for developing and executing commercial - technical strategies to support the Ruminant Business in Italy. The employee should combine commercial acumen with technical skills to deliver high-quality service to customers, maintaining strong client relationships, fostering mutual value creation, adopting concrete execution and drive business growth.
The candidate will operate in a highly competitive commercial environment that requires rapid action and the ability to seize opportunities, focusing on planning with balance of tactical management and day by day operational requirements, this implies effective information sharing in order to collaborate in customer value creation, maintaining accurate business records including CRM and communicate effectively with National Sales Manager RU&SW and other stakeholders.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Ensure the achievement of sales and qualitative objectives through effective negotiation, planning and execution, using company tools in order to monitor&track evolution and market scenario.
Develop, propose and execute strategic business plans with short- to mid-term results, leveraging economic resources through a combined commercial and technical vision that deliver customer value.
Development and implementation of our portfolio / solution, anticipating market needs and improving opportunities.
Create, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with large accounts assigned at National level by proposing tailored solutions and sharing strategic plans aimed at achieving results through a win-win approach.
Analyze sales data (Sell-in / Sell-out) to identify opportunities and risks, acting with a sense of urgency and aligning team efforts toward KPIs such as Return on Investment and Profitability.
Contribute to the success of the team by sharing best practice with colleagues and proactively contributing ideas.
Ensure that all relevant documentation supporting customer agreements is accurately archived in the company’s official repositories.
Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including veterinarians, producers and industry partners.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life sciences or economical fields.
Not less than 7 years of professional experience in the Livestock environment (experienced in Beef Bussiness).
Business acumen.
Technical knowledge in Ruminant Space, particularly in Beef Production.
Analytical skills through data interpretation and management.
Key Account Management skills.
Focus on planning and execution.
Work effectively with intermittent supervision.
Communication and influencing skills.
Excellent communication in Italian and basic in English.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office.
What we offer
For this position we offer a temporary contract with an external agency.
The gross annual base salary foreseen for this position ranges from €60.000 to €80.000, depending on candidate's skills and experience.
