We are looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Immunology, who is eager to join our Medical Team. This is a field-based role, with a primary affiliation to our Warsaw office, requiring regular travel across Poland.
About the role
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Immunology is a field-based Medical Affairs professional responsible for building scientific partnerships, facilitating peer-to-peer scientific exchange, and generating medical insights that support UCB's strategy and ultimately improve patient outcomes in Immunology.
Who you'll work with
You will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, scientific experts, investigators, medical societies, and internal cross-functional colleagues across Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial teams. As a trusted scientific partner, you will contribute to aligned stakeholder engagement and support the implementation of local medical strategies.
What you’ll do
· Build and maintain trusted scientific partnerships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other relevant healthcare stakeholders across Poland.
· Deliver high-quality scientific exchange by communicating complex medical and scientific information in a clear, balanced, and compliant manner.
· Generate, analyze, and share medical insights to help shape local medical strategy and enhance patient value.
· Represent UCB at national and international scientific congresses, medical meetings, and advisory boards, while supporting the planning and execution of medical education and stakeholder engagement activities.
· Support evidence-generation initiatives and scientific collaborations that contribute to advancing knowledge in Immunology.
· Collaborate closely with cross-functional colleagues to ensure the effective execution of medical plans and stakeholder engagement activities.
· Conduct all activities in accordance with UCB policies, industry regulations, and applicable compliance standards.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
· Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related scientific field.
· Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a Medical Affairs role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is preferred.
· Strong scientific and clinical knowledge, ideally within Immunology or related therapeutic areas.
· Proven ability to build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and scientific experts.
· Strong collaboration, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific information into meaningful insights.
· Fluency in Polish and English.
· Willingness to travel regularly across Poland.
