As Medical Manager Cardiovascular within our General Medicines Medical team, you'll serve as a scientific and medical expert in the Dyslipidemia therapeutic area, helping shape medical strategy and drive impactful outcomes for patients across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Ready to get started?

As part of our GSA Medical team spanning Germany, Austria and Switzerland, you'll partner closely with cross-functional colleagues in marketing, sales and clinical teams to bring life-changing cardiovascular therapies to the patients who need them most.

Main responsibilities

Act as a strategic medical partner and key business advisor to the organization, supporting decision-making, lifecycle management of the cardiovascular portfolio, and managing the medical budget and resources to ensure timely delivery of objectives.

Build and maintain relationships with external medical experts and stakeholders in the dyslipidemia field, representing medical in close cross-functional collaboration with marketing and sales teams.

Plan and deliver medical events, congress symposia, internal training sessions and advisory boards across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Co-create non-promotional materials and review promotional content in close collaboration with marketing and sales teams, implementing the medical go-to-market strategy through personalized customer engagement to maximize market impact and customer satisfaction.

Lead evidence generation planning and execution based on stakeholder needs, fostering close collaboration with the Clinical Study team to optimize trial execution.

Build deep expertise in the cardiovascular therapy area, staying current on scientific developments, product knowledge and competitor insights through continuous professional development.

Develop and apply a thorough understanding of local market needs across Germany, Austria and Switzerland to support the successful implementation of the global medical strategy at country level.

About you

Experience: Background in medical affairs, with therapeutic area expertise preferable; experience of external and customer interactions; ability to rapidly assimilate new data and integrate into a new therapy area.

Soft and technical skills: Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate science clearly; ability to collaborate effectively across global and local cross-functional teams; strong interpersonal skills reflecting cultural awareness and sensitivity; solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset; ability to synthesize complex and diverse inputs into clear, practical recommendations; medical and business acumen.

Education: An advanced degree in life sciences, medicine or pharmacy (PhD, MSc or MD).

Languages: Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.

The salary range for this position is :€79 104,00 - €118 656,00 Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
