Duties & Responsibilities:BIの重点疾患領域(TA)である肺線維症領域では,すでに上市した薬剤に加え,複数のパイプラインを有しております。そのため,開発段階から上市後まで幅広くメディカル活動をリードするMA(Medical Advisor)を必要としています。グローバル戦略に沿い,複数の部署を横断するチームメンバーと協働しながら,エビデンス構築,専門家からのインサイトに基づくアンメットメディカルニーズの特定,アドバイザリーボード会議等の企画立案を担う役割です。また、ドイツ本社メンバーとの国際会議や海外学会への参加など、海外のステークホルダーとのコミュニケーションも役割の一つです。

国内における肺線維症領域のアンメットメディカルニーズを理解し,臨床研究の基本的な知識とプロジェクトを適切にマネージする能力,また他部署とのコラボレーションや外部専門家(External Experts)とのコミュニケーション,アドバイザリーボード会議や承認後の薬剤の価値最大化・適正使用に必要なメディカル戦略も検討していく長期的な視野を持った人材を求めています。Jop profile for Medical Advisor:

In Pulmonary Fibrosis field, as a key therapeutic area (TA) of BI, we have not only launched product but also multiple pipelines for this field. A Medical Advisor (MA) to lead medical activities in Japan is required. Aligning with the global business/development strategy, MA is expected to collaborate with cross-functional team members to promote evidence generation, identify the unmet medical needs based on the insights from external experts and planning/executing the advisory board meetings. In addition, communication with global stakeholders through meetings with the headquarter members and international congresses are expected.

Understand the unmet medical needs of pulmonary fibrosis TA in Japan with basic knowledge of clinical research and project management, and communication skill with external experts. We are searching a person with a long-term perspective who can plan the medical strategy, advisory board meetings and the maximization of the value and proper use of drugs after approval.

Accountabilities:・グローバルの開発戦略や顧客からのインサイト、アンメットニーズに沿ったメディカル戦略・戦術の作成と実行を内外のステークホルダーとともに計画し実行する

・BIのプロダクトを支えるための、日本の外部専門家との強いネットワークの構築

・アドバイザリーボードの企画立案及び実施

・臨床・非臨床の研究や医師主導臨床試験、RWD研究を通して外部専門家と協働し、価値あるデータを創出してデータギャップやアンメットニーズを埋める

・日本のニーズに合わせたマーケット部門との協働でのGlobal Integrated Brand Plan(IBP)に沿ったIntegrated Customer Plan(ICP)の作成

・各プロジェクトの質を担保しながら,タイムライン及び予算を考慮し進行する適切なマネジメント

・メディカルインフォメーションの準備及び提供のサポート

・PMSに対するメディカルアドバイス,サポート

・ 法規制や業界ルール(プロモーションコード、公正競争規約、個人情報、データ収集/保管など)、関連SOP を理解し、遵守する。・ Planning and executing of Medical strategy and Tactics based on Global strategy, customer insight and unmet medical needs, by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

・ Establish strong network with Japanese external experts to support our product.

・Planning and executing of advisory board meeting.

・Medical advice and support to Post-marketing survey

・ Support preparing and providing medical information

・ Create new scientific data by collaboration with external experts through clinical/pre-clinical researches, investigator initiated studies and RWD studies in order to fulfill the data gap and unmet needs

・ Prepare Integrated Customer Plan which aligned with global Integrated Brand Plan)IBP to address Japan specific needs, collaborate with Marketing.

・ Ensure all the projects in the therapeutic area are correctly managed in terms of both in timeline, quality and budget

・ To understand and comply with regulations and industry rules (promotional codes, fair competition rules, privacy, data collection/storage, etc.) as well as related SOP

Capabilities (Skills, Experience and Competencies):・海外担当者とコミュニケーション可能なビジネスレベルの英語能力

・Internal/External ステークホルダーとのコラボレーションを促進する高いコミュニケーション能力

・臨床研究の立案・計画、実行の経験及びプロジェクトマネージメント能力

・学会発表や論文作成の経験及びプロジェクトマネージメント能力

・ライフサイエンス分野のPhD(博士)、MSc(修士)もしくはMDが望ましい

・メディカルアフェアーズでの経験があると望ましい。

※バックグラウンドはライフサイエンス分野(理系)の方に限る・Business English level in both written and verbal in global competence.

・High level of communication skill to promote the collaboration with internal/external stakeholders.

・Experiences in planning/execution of clinical research and project management skill

・Experiences in planning/execution of publication and project management skill

・PhD, MSc, MD is preferable.

・Experience in medical affairs is preferable.
