What you will do
As the Utilities Maintenance Manager, you lead the team (8 FTE) responsible for maintaining the critical utility systems that keep our manufacturing and warehousing operations running safely and reliably.
You'll lead a team of Maintenance Engineers and (Lead) Maintenance Technicians, providing direction, coaching, and support while ensuring the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities. Together, you'll support critical utility systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, chilled water, boilers, purified water, clean steam, and building automation systems.
Our Breda site continues to grow through investments in facilities, automation, and manufacturing capacity. In this role, you'll help shape the future of our utility infrastructure by balancing day-to-day operational excellence with long-term maintenance planning and asset lifecycle management.
In this role, you will:
Lead, coach, and develop the operational Utilities Maintenance team.
Ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
Set priorities, allocate resources, and coordinate maintenance activities, contractor support, and on-call coverage.
Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Reliability Engineering, and external vendors to deliver reliable utility systems.
Drive continuous improvement, maintenance performance, and asset lifecycle planning to support future site growth.
Support utility-related projects, infrastructure upgrades, and investment initiatives.

What we expect from you
HBO-level education or equivalent technical experience.
Experience leading maintenance, utilities, or facilities teams within an industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of utility systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, boilers, chilled water, purified water, clean steam, or similar infrastructure.
A people-focused leadership style with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire technical teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good command of English.
Experience in a GMP or other regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.
