About this opportunity

Use Your Power for Purpose

The Manager, Supply Chain Operations Analyst is a member of the North America Global Supply Chain (GSC) team and serves as a true AI owner for logistics, leading the reporting, advanced analytics, and applied-AI agenda across the North America logistics network. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role that owns everything except people management, partnering directly with operations leaders to translate business needs into scalable data, analytics, and AI-driven solutions that improve decision-making and operational performance.

As GSC evolves toward predictive, prescriptive, and agentic AI capabilities, this role keeps the function ahead of the industry by advancing the AI/data foundation, enabling scenario-based and autonomous decision support, and embedding intelligent insights into day-to-day operations across the end-to-end logistics value chain, warehousing and distribution, transportation and freight, demand and inventory planning, and third-party logistics (3PL) management.

This role is US-based and partners closely with our Canada teams.

Our logistics and supply teams ensure that customers and patients receive the medicines they need precisely when they need them. In this role, you will be the person who turns data and AI into faster, smarter decisions across the network, spotting risk before it happens, freeing teams from manual reporting, and helping leaders act with confidence. By imagining new possibilities and taking decisive action, you will help accelerate the delivery of medicines to the world while helping our function lead, not follow, in the AI era.

What You Will Achieve

Data, Analytics & AI Strategy (AI Ownership)

Own and execute the analytics and AI roadmap across the logistics organization, integrated with the Global digital strategy.

Translate business requirements into scalable data models, semantic layers, and AI-ready datasets.

Identify and lead opportunities to move from descriptive to predictive to prescriptive to agentic, AI-driven decisions.

Champion adoption of AI-enabled decision intelligence across supply chain, logistics, and customer service.

Visualizations, Decision Intelligence & Self-Service

Develop interactive dashboards and decision-support tools.

Embed predictive insights and AI-generated recommendations directly into dashboards and standard work.

Enable self-service analytics and AI copilots to reduce ad-hoc and manual reporting.

Enhance business reviews with scenario simulations and forward-looking insights.

End-to-End Logistics Partnership

Act as the primary AI and analytics interface to logistics operations, partnering with leaders across warehousing and distribution, transportation and freight, demand and inventory planning, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.

Apply a working, end-to-end understanding of North America logistics to frame the right problems and prioritize the highest-value use cases.

Co-create a future-focused agenda with operations teams, connecting network performance, cost-to-serve, and service outcomes.

Implementation & Adoption

Lead deployment of analytics and AI solutions across the North America logistics network.

Ensure solutions are user-friendly, embedded into standard work, and driving measurable business outcomes.

Drive strong change management and adoption so tools are used and trusted.

Data Governance, Quality & AI Trust

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.

Align with enterprise data governance and data-cataloging standards.

Support responsible AI principles, including:

Data transparency

Model explainability

Risk and bias monitoring

How we calculate "similar"

No black box, no LLM guesswork: a deterministic score built from four normalized attributes. Here's this role's own peer group at different match levels, so you can see the mechanism, not just the result.

Every comparison starts from the same 100-point budget: 25 for working in the same function, 40 for the same therapeutic area, 20 for the same or adjacent seniority, 15 for the same country. A dimension we can't confirm on both sides contributes nothing, never a guess, never a free pass.

Unmatched or unknown dimensions score exactly the same: 0 points, never a partial guess. A role we know almost nothing about beyond its function bottoms out at 25%; it never inflates to 100% just because there's little to compare against. Seniority uses a defined ladder (Associate → Manager → Associate Director → Senior → Principal → Director → Senior Director → Executive/VP) so "Director" and "Senior Director" count as adjacent, but "Director" and "Executive/VP" do not.
