About this opportunity

You’ll help keep our radioligand therapy facility running safely and reliably by maintaining critical equipment and building systems. In this hands-on role, you’ll solve technical challenges, support smooth daily operations, and directly contribute to delivering life-changing medicines to patients.The working shift will be adjusted (1st or 2nd) after initial onboarding and training completion.

Key Responsibilities:• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production, laboratory, and building systems to ensure reliable operations.• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues with minimal supervision.• Interpret equipment drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to plan and perform maintenance work.• Complete all maintenance documentation accurately within the Computerized Maintenance Management System.• Support startup, commissioning, and twenty-four-hour site operations to maintain facility readiness.• Write and revise clear procedures and training materials for equipment and maintenance tasks.• Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced maintenance technicians.The salary for this position is expected to range between $47,530 and $88,270 per year.The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors.Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards.US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits. In addition, employees are eligible for a generous time off package including vacation, personal days, holidays and other leaves.Essential Requirements:• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.• At least one year of hands-on maintenance experience in a regulated Good Manufacturing Practice environment.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Building Management Systems, and a Computerized Maintenance Management System.• Ability to follow procedures and meet safety and quality requirements; strong communication and organization; accurate documentation.• Physical capability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, and wear protective clothing; able to work in clean rooms and confined spaces.• Schedule flexibility to support twenty-four-hour site operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Desirable Requirements:• Prior experience in aseptic fill and finish operations or radiopharmacy within a regulated environment.• Formal training in working with radioactive and hazardous materials, with familiarity in using and calibrating radiation detection equipment.
