About this opportunity

THE POSITION

The Maintenance Supervisor will join the Global Facilities & Engineering team at our strategic production site in Noventa Padovana (PD), reporting to the Process Engineering Manager.

As Maintenance Supervisor, the candidate will lead preventive, corrective and calibration maintenance activities, coordinating a team of six technicians and fostering a culture of quality, collaboration and continuous improvement. Beyond the technical aspects of the role, the candidate will play a key part in ensuring accurate documentation, procedural compliance and adherence to quality standards within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.

The role will represent the Noventa Padovana site within the maintenance network, working closely with global stakeholders to support site priorities, drive change management initiatives and contribute to the site's maintenance strategy.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Support quality and compliance processes, including maintenance documentation management, root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA implementation and deviation follow-up, ensuring adherence to GMP and site standards.

Plan daily maintenance priorities, allocate resources effectively and ensure the timely execution of scheduled activities in alignment with operational and quality requirements.

Oversee preventive, corrective and calibration maintenance activities for process equipment, utilities and instrumentation, guiding a team of six maintenance technicians through daily priorities, problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

Monitor preventive maintenance and calibration compliance, manage the corrective maintenance backlog and drive continuous improvement actions in collaboration with the Maintenance Planner and Reliability Maintenance Engineer.

Ensure effective collaboration with Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, HSE, Logistics and other plant functions to support site objectives and operational excellence.

Represent the site in local and global maintenance networks, sharing best practices and contributing to standardization and changing management initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance, engineering or manufacturing environments, including experience coordinating technical teams.

Experience working in structured and regulated environments, with exposure to quality systems, technical documentation and compliance-driven processes.

Knowledge of quality management methodologies, such as RCA and CAPA.

Good command of English (minimum B2 level).

Strong communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills, combined with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or other highly regulated manufacturing environments is considered a plus.

Knowledge of GxP requirements and aseptic manufacturing processes, experience with SAP CMMS or equivalent maintenance management systems, knowledge of Lean methodologies and experience supporting TPM implementation are considered a plus.

Familiarity with GoTrack or similar quality management systems and experience with warehouse management processes and MRP systems are considered a plus.

The gross annual base salary foreseen for this position ranges from € 37.000 to € 49.000, depending on candidate's skills and experience.
