Lead Technician Utilities

What you will do
As a Lead Technician Utilities, you play a key role in ensuring the reliable operation of the critical utility systems that support our manufacturing, warehousing, and offices. You combine technical expertise with leadership and coaching skills. Working closely with technicians, engineers, contractors, and operations teams, you help ensure maintenance activities are executed safely, efficiently, and compliantly while supporting the development of others.
You'll work on systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, chilled water, boilers, and building automation systems within a modern, highly automated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. As our site continues to expand, these systems are becoming increasingly important to support future growth.
In this role, you will:
Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities across utility systems and facility infrastructure.
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to technicians and contractors.
Support troubleshooting of complex utility and facility-related issues.
Work closely with Facilities & Engineering colleagues, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical challenges.
Drive reliability improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in the on-call rotation supporting critical utility systems.

What we expect from you
MBO+/HBO-level education or equivalent technical experience.
Experience in utilities, facilities, maintenance, or industrial installations.
Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands-on mindset.
Experience coordinating maintenance activities, projects, contractors, or technical teams.
Strong communication skills and the ability to coach and support colleagues.
Good communication skills in English and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
Experience in a GMP environment and knowledge of SAP PM or another CMMS platform are a plus.
