We are looking for an associate to join the Analytical Characterization (AC) team in Basel, Switzerland. AC supports Novartis’ new biological entities (NBEs) development from proof-of-concept in human (i.e., finalization of the first phase I clinical trial) to commercialization and life-cycle management activities. AC applies a wide range of analytical techniques to characterize biopharmaceutical products. The AC team belongs to the Analytical Development unit, which is part of Novartis Technical Research and Development (TRD).As part of the surface plasmon resonance (SPR) laboratory team within AC, the successful applicant will provide analytical support for NBE development by using state-of-the-art biophysical techniques to elucidate binding affinity and kinetics of the active pharmaceutical ingredient to its biological target and to immune receptors. The applicant will work in a highly collaborative and scientific environment, in close interaction with other experts in the analytical community.
