About this opportunity

Lead Technology & System Innovation in Japan Patient Safety organization, driving innovation, system operations, data science, and document management to ensure full compliance with global and local pharmacovigilance regulations.This role is accountable for advancing digital transformation, including the responsible use of AI, to enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance, while enabling data-driven decision making and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:1. Strategy & LeadershipDefine and execute Japan PS technology and innovation strategy aligned with global directionLead and develop a high-performing Technology & System Innovation teamDrive capability building and resource optimization2. Digital Innovation & AILead the responsible and compliant use of AI and digital technologies in Patient SafetyIdentify and prioritize digital innovation opportunitiesMonitor regulatory and technology trends to shape future roadmap3. System Operations & ComplianceEnsure Safety IT systems are compliant with global procedures and local regulationsOversee implementation and maintenance of pharmacovigilance systemsEnsure accurate and timely safety reporting4. Data Science & AnalyticsDrive advanced analytics and insights generation from internal and external data sourcesEnable automation of reporting and data processesEnhance data integration and analytical capabilities5. Process ExcellenceIdentify and drive process automation to improve quality, efficiency, and productivityLead system and process improvement projects end-to-endTrack performance and implement corrective actions when needed6. Document Management (GxP)Oversee lifecycle management of GxP documentsEnsure compliance and consistency in document processesProvide training and governance to stakeholders7.
