Essential Requirements

University degree from Medical Faculty

Minimum 5 years of Medical Affairs experience, with at least 2 year in the pharmaceutical industry; oncology experience is highly preferred

Managerial role experience would be an asset

Advanced command of written and spoken English

Coaching & Feedback & Feedforward & Leadership skills

Expert group facilitation and moderation skills

Good at teamwork

Excellent communication and presentation skills

No restrictions to travel frequently and must have a valid driving license

Located in İstanbul

Main Duties and Responsibilities

To establish AstraZeneca as a scientific leader through proactive, updated and effective Medical input

To engage  scientific leaders, professional bodies or societies to establish AZ as a scientific leader

Generate the medical evidence to support the brand strategies in priority TAs to meet unmet medical needs

Provide medical expertise to shape the regulatory environment to achieve rapid and high-quality market access to AZ products including new registration, new product evaluation and life cycle

Defines and delivers training on the Medical background of the product for various functions in an organization as required

Governance and ensuring overall adherence to processes and regulations (include but not limited to patient safety, clinical trials, promotional activities, etc)

Providing coaching for team members to help them achieve the targets defined in their individual development plans and supporting their development to ensure that they provide technical specialization and professionalism in their jobs.

Proactively identifying KEEs with high levels of  scientific expertise in local treatment practice to collaborate on specific medico-marketing activities
