Global Pricing Analytics Lead – Manager

What you will do

The Team

The team comprises of Global Access Strategy Leads and Operational Pricing Experts

Sitting in the Global Operational Pricing team, key responsibilities include the development of Pricing Systems, Processes, Reports, and Analytics

The team are also responsible for Biosimilar and Established brands GV&A strategic deliverables and strategy execution

We are the "COM PE Centre of Excellence" in Amgen and implement defence strategies for our growth brands as they approach and experience patent expiry

The Role

Serves as a key global expert for pricing strategy, analysis, and operational pricing governance

Delivers core pricing analytics and operational support for Top10+ markets, enabling governance, decision-making, compliant documentation, and brand execution

Accountabilities

Provide the necessary analytics and reports for global pricing governance and strategy implementation

Track net price evolution and erosion drivers

Global price management support with focus on Top 10 markets

Support affiliate price submissions, monitoring and documentation

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in pricing processes

Responsibilities

For Top 10 markets

Deliver Pricing Analysis & Support Pricing Infrastructure

Further develop and maintain pricing data, tools and analytics (price lists, reference baskets, waterfalls)

Produce IRP, price erosion, price planning, and launch sequence analyses with clear insights to support decision making

Maintain documentation and audit trail for ASP reporting

Support affiliates with guidance on pricing tools, contract setup and compliance

Monitor net pricing performance versus established policies

Collaborate with the Contracts and Pricing Operations team to develop Gross to Net waterfall insights

Floor Setting, Business Case & Contracts Management

Support the operationalization of Global Price Governance

Support the price floor setting process

Review and approve all contracts requiring price governance

Ensure proper documentation of all pricing-related decisions

External Price Submissions

Support affiliates in preparing and submitting Price Certificates

Maintain accurate price list structures and documentation for government submissions

Train affiliates on contract setup, implementation, and price list structures.

Follow up on incorrect reference price calculations; guide affiliates in addressing authority errors

Continuous Improvement

Contribute to GOP initiatives and improvement projects based on business needs

Strategic Advice & Planning for New Launches

Depending on experience and interest, contribute to new reimbursement submissions, indication expansions, LOE (loss of exclusivity) readiness, broader pricing/access strategic planning

Basic Qualifications/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or greater in a related field (e.g., finance, medicine, pharmacy, biology, economics, engineering, etc.)

Minimum 3 years of directly related experience in Pricing, Financial Audit, Finance Analysis, Sales & Marketing Effectiveness, Forecasting, or Consulting

Experience of cross-border pricing risk management (IRP, LSO, Price Floors, Gross to Net optimisation)

Strong technical skills in data analysis, forecasting, and advanced Excel usage

Fluency in English, written and spoken

Strong analytical capability, able to simplify complex issues and propose clear recommendations

High attention to detail, accuracy, and precision

Strong project management skills with a structured work approach

Preferred Experience:

Prior pharmaceutical pricing experience

Understanding of HTA and Health Economics

Experience working in cross-functional, virtual global teams

Demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues and implement solutions

Solid understanding of global pricing and reimbursement systems, healthcare, market and competitor trends

Prior commercial or consulting experience is a plus

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
