Join our Global Diversity & Inclusion in Clinical Trials (DICT) team, where we're transforming how clinical research represents the patients we serve. Our mission is to ensure clinical trials reflect the diversity of the global population through innovative AI-powered solutions, strategic partnerships, and data-driven methodologies. As part of our expanding European and Asian operations, you'll be at the forefront of advancing health equity and improving patient outcomes across key European and Asian markets while also serving as the organization's lead voice for community partnerships in your region.

Main responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership • Develop and execute the Europe and Asia Pacific DICT approach with data-driven decision-making and AI-enabled capabilities as foundational pillars • Partner with Global DICT leadership to establish a multi-year innovation roadmap • Create operational strategies incorporating digital tools for automated reporting, real-time enrollment tracking, and actionable insights • Manage regional budget and resources, prioritizing technology investments that deliver long-term efficiency gains • Develop and execute sustainable external community partnership ensuring they are embedded into clinical trial diversity strategies

Operations & Performance Management • Implement standardized data collection to increase diverse population participation • Serve as the primary Europe/APAC DICT lead and key performance indicators (KPI) contact • Stay current on EU and APAC regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and evolving diversity standards • Equip project teams with self-service tools and resources to monitor diversity KPIs and drive program-level accountability

Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement • Engage with external consortiums and policy makers (IHI, TransCelerate, MHRA/HRA DICT working group, EFPIA) • Build strategic partnerships with clinical sites, patient advocates, and technology providers • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to build site capacity and capability across priority EU and APAC markets • Provide training, resources, and infrastructure support to improve diverse patient recruitment and retention

Cross-Functional Collaboration • Participate in Sanofi governance bodies, bringing data-informed perspectives and technology-enabled solutions • Collaborate with R&D, Corporate Affairs, Public Affairs, Clinical Sciences Operations (CSO), and Vaccines • Integrate Europe DICT strategy with global approach, ensuring aligned data standards and digital workflows

Technology & Innovation • Leverage AI-powered tools and digital solutions including dashboards, predictive modeling, and demographic analytics • Collaborate with Global DICT, Real World Evidence, and Digital teams to pilot and evaluate AI/ML tools for site feasibility and patient identification • Stay informed on emerging AI technologies through engagement with external health tech partners and academic institutions • Build data using digital/AI tools within the EU/APAC DICT team

About you

Experience: • Proven clinical trial experience and significant pharmaceutical industry or complex matrix organization background • Demonstrated experience in clinical trial operations, patient enrollment initiatives, and cross-functional team leadership • Proven success leading without authority in global matrix environments and navigating ambiguity across functions and cultures

Technical Skills: • Strong project management, communication, analytical, and strategic thinking capabilities • Demonstrated data literacy with enrollment data, KPI dashboards, and performance metrics • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts in clinical research • Ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations

Regulatory & Industry Knowledge: • Experience with EU and APAC regulatory landscape (EMA, MHRA/HRA, PMDA, CFDA, national competent authorities) • Knowledge of industry consortiums (EFPIA, TransCelerate, IHI) • Demonstrated success in external stakeholder engagement, including industry associations, regulatory bodies, or policy advocacy

Education & Languages: • MSc or equivalent required; PharmD/PhD/MD or equivalent preferred • Fluent English (written and spoken) mandatory • Additional European language (e.g., French) mandatory

The salary range for this position is :€90 400,00 - €120 533 Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
