Main Responsibilities:  

Perform and support upstream operations activities

Set-up, inspect, operate, and perform cleaning of inoculators, harvesters, egg tray autoloaders/unloaders, tray washer and cart washer

Operate shop floor pressure washers, wet vacuums

Perform upstream production activities in accordance with volume fluctuation, business need, and effective procedures

Remove defective eggs that are not within standard

Complete documentation (e.g. eBR, logbooks etc.) accurately in a timely manner as required by cGMP

Cart transfers, material handling, cleaning, and disinfection

Assist with training of new employees

Management of eggs flow through the Upstream operational process including receipt of egg deliveries inspection and egg waste handling

Inspection and receipt of egg deliveries & safely remove egg carts from delivery truck as per procedure

Inspect egg tray orientation on carts throughout Upstream operations

Perform pre-inoculation egg candling inspection process to remove defect eggs as per procedure

Effectively communicate and co-ordinate deliveries with truck driver

Ensure empty trays are cleaned and stored in designated areas Identifies and communicates all production issues

Maintain GMP compliance, participate in process improvements, housekeeping, inspection readiness activities and other duties as assigned such as egg related data collection activities

Maintain daily records for all production related activities

Ensure production area is kept clean and aligned with GMP standards, following site procedures and 5S methodologies

Maintain all equipment in good condition & perform additional tasks as required by Department Management

Complete documentation for data collection as required by requesting department

Perform additional data collection activities as required

Maintain safe work environment by following HSE requirements

Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE when performing tasks

Participate in HSE inspections

Assist with implementation of HSE initiatives

Escalate potential safety hazards and propose solutions

About You

​ Minimum Qualifications:  

Minimum High School Diploma, plus a minimum of six (6) months of previous relevant work experience.

Preferred High School Diploma, plus a minimum of twelve (12) months of previous relevant work experience.

Hours Of Work:  

Work Shift schedule inclusive from Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday or Friday to Tuesday from 02:00pm-10:00pm.

Training schedule inclusive from Monday to Friday 08:00am-04:00pm.
