About the Role
Alzheimer’s disease represents a major and growing unmet need in Hungary, with fragmented care pathways, limited diagnostic capacity, and delayed patient access to innovative therapies. To address this, we are creating a new type of role in Hungary.
The Alzheimer’s Ecosystem Manager (AEM) is responsible for:
building and shaping the Alzheimer’s care ecosystem
activating new diagnostic and treatment pathways
contributing directly to therapeutic area marketing strategy and execution
This role operates at the intersection of:
strategy and execution
healthcare system transformation and commercial readiness
stakeholder engagement and marketing
You will not simply work within the system, you will help redesign it to enable patient access to innovation.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
1. Ecosystem Mapping & System Shaping
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Alzheimer’s diagnostic and treatment ecosystem
Map key stakeholders, including HCPs, diagnostic centers, hospital systems, and payers
Identify bottlenecks in CSF testing, PET imaging, and referral networks
Design and drive practical, system-level solutions to improve patient access
2. Patient Pathway Design & Implementation
Redesign diagnosis and referral pathways in collaboration with healthcare stakeholders
Pilot and scale new models of care delivery and referral processes
Deliver measurable improvements in time to diagnosis and patient flow
3. Infusion & Diagnostic Capacity Enablement
Identify capacity gaps in infusion and diagnostic infrastructure
Co-create and implement scalable solutions with healthcare providers
Enable healthcare system readiness for real patient treatment initiation
4. Therapeutic Area Marketing Responsibilities
In addition to ecosystem work, the AEM will actively contribute to marketing activities, including:
Translate ecosystem insights into local Alzheimer’s strategy inputs
Support the development and execution of disease awareness initiatives, educational programs, omnichannel engagement plans
Identify key target segments and priority customers
Contribute to shaping: value propositions; customer journeys; go-to-market readiness plans
This role requires hands-on marketing thinking and execution, not only field engagement.
6. Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Activation
Build partnerships with: hospitals (public and private), diagnostic providers, professional societies, healthcare decision-makers
Enable multi-stakeholder collaboration models to improve Alzheimer’s care
7. Cross-Functional Leadership
Act as a connector between cross-functional affiliate brand team
Translate field insights into actionable strategic direction
Ensure alignment between ecosystem readiness and launch strategy
8. Market Insight & Opportunity Shaping
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and policy changes impacting the therapeutic area
Generate insights and translate them into concrete strategic actions
Qualifications
Solid experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical industry
Proven success in stakeholder engagement and partnership development
Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and/or key account management
University degree
Skills & Capabilities
